“I’m sorry, Yoon Gi. But you’re a really good friend. I don’t have romantic feelings for you.”
“I know... I sincerely apologize.”
“You’re forgiven.”
“... Thank you.”
I tried to smile. But I knew I hurt him. I was sad, and, even though I also knew it wouldn’t change anything, so sorry...
Yoon Gi observed me. Then he indicated to the others with his chin and said, “You should go. Nam Joon is waiting for you resolutely.”
I turned around. Everyone was in front of the building of the inn and looking our way curiously. Na Young seemed to nag Seok Jin, Jung Kook and Tae Hyung, who had the best hearing of the group, to tell her what was going on. But the three shook their heads, as if saying they couldn’t hear. Which was obviously normal since Yoon Gi and I were quite far and they didn’t have ultra ears.
“Okay. I’ll go then.”
He hummed and stayed behind while I walked away. I felt his eyes on my back for a moment, then I knew he had went off in the opposite direction when his presence grew away from us.

“That sounds terrible.”
“It’s very difficult.”
“Is it painful?”
“It... can be.”
I swallowed down half of my bottle angrily. He did that because of me. He had to hurt himself because of me.
“Don’t feel guilty, Yong Gi. It’s not your fault, I decided to do it.”
“You’re saying this to make me feel better.”
“Have I ever been dishonest with you?”
I sighed and looked up at him.
“You have a point,” I admitted.
Nam Joon had never lied to me. On the opposite, he preferred not to tell me anything than having to lie.
“Then don’t beat yourself over this. And anyway, it didn’t hurt that much!” he exclaimed with a grin that revealed the two small holes on his cheeks.
I narrowed my eyes as I examined them.
“You know, I think those dimples could be a fatal weapon.”
“Are you suggesting that I just smile at my opponent? You’re trying to kill me, right?”
“Well...”
The angel chuckled and flicked my forehead, making me wince miserably.
“Let’s get back to it before you plan out my assassinatio
