A/N: Hello, everyone. So, I still don't know if it's a dream, but, with the three new subscribers since the last update, it seems like you're fifty subscribed to the The Creatures. I repeat, fifty. Like, FIFTY! Okay, let me grab the mic, I should give a small speech. I'm not as good as RM with words but I want to tell you how I feel sincerely.
Fifty subscribers. It never happened before. Honestly, when I see the amazing writers out there with their amazing stories, who have a lot of subscribers; also meaning a lot of people reading them, I'm full of admiration. They write so well and their stories are so good! Well, of course, I'm far from being as much of a good writer and from having as much readers/subscribers. But this is a lot more than I ever imagined or even hoped for!
Writing is to me more than a hobby. It's a passion, a way to express my (maybe too) introverted self, and to make my life and reality more exciting. I've been editing the story (for months now because I'm way too good at procrastinating), and seeing how far we've come and how much we still have to go, I felt really good. The Creatures is lacking on some things, I am too, but I'm having fun and I'm really happy about it. I will keep on doing my best in writing, learning and improving! Thank you very much everyone! ^ㅁ^ (<- it was a coincidence but this looks a lot like Tae haha)
In Angels’ strict ranking system, exists a “Special” rank, which consists of the very rare Angels of Light.
Angels of Light don't have any interest in ranks and society matters, earning them this special position in the angelic hierarchy. Their only interest is healing, particularly animals and plants that they love, and sometimes Humans. Some like us more than others. But they never get involved with Humans, and only pass on positive energy and a bit of Maryeok to help us heal or recover.
Angels of Light are the epitome of purity, kindness and love, and think every good person is equal and worthy.
As we roamed the streets of Busan, waiting for a reaction from the rune, Tae Hyung, who had last seen Korea in Joseon, was captivated by everything that entered his sight. Any sound, any building, any people, any road, everything was object to a dragged out:
“Woaaaaaaaa! And what are those noisy and scary-looking things?!”
“These are cars. They’re carriages that move without horses.”
“Why is this building so high?!”
“It’s an apartment complex. There are a lot of small houses and a lot of people who live in it.”
“Woaaaaaaa! And how did they built it??”
I have a lot of admiration for you, Seok Jin. Really, you’re the most fascinating right now... I thought.
His excitement made Tae Hyung involuntarily lead our way. It was a bit hard to follow him, but our curious cat, a.k.a Kim Na Young, was able to make the boy slow down by interrogating him on his creation.
“I’m born in Joseon, in the middle of a swamp!” exclaimed the Haetae. “It was the wish of a kid, Gong Bo, who was lost in it, that created me. His parents had been wrongly accused of trying to sell bad products to the palace and exiled. I helped the kid out of the swamp and took care of him.”
“And who gave you your name?” then asked Ho Seok.
“Gong Bo.”
“I saw the surname of the human family was Kim,” remarked Nam Joon. “I guess you took his surname too.”
“He said I would need it to live among humans.”
Seok Jin smiled, “Well, he was right.”
“You said the same thing when I first told you this.”
Seok Jin and Tae Hyung giggled together. I was honestly afraid that Seok Jin would be eaten up by his culpability and regrets. Even more now that Tae Hyung had woke up. But it didn’t seem like that. Nam Joon told me the two had a long discussion, which fortunately resulted in Seok Jin saying he was feeling better. I supposed that speaking about his thoughts and feelings to his friend really must have he
