A/N: A big thank you to the subscribers! I had intended to say it when I had my first subscriber but I'm really an empty head and forget almost everything (don't laugh I swear it's really difficult to live like this! I have to keep making notes). So yeah I hope you will forgive me. Thank you veryyy much!!
We exited the bathroom and entered my bedroom.
“I can listen, but you know there’s no guarantee that I can actually do something?” I told him as I turned my back to the window, a glance at it reminding me that there may be another creature outside.
“You’re the only one who can. Why? Because you are the only human who can see creatures.”
“That’s all?”
“Isn’t it already enough?”
“Mmh.” Starting to believe in Creatures was already weird enough. But I couldn’t say nothing strange happened with him. Or him, I thought, my mind drifting to the other young man. “Then tell me for what and how I can help you.”
“I got injured from corrupted magic. To explain quickly: magic should be ‘white’, but when it’s corrupted by darkness then it becomes ‘dark’. It entered my heart and you have to extract it.”
“I-I can’t do this! I know nothing about magic, let alone how to extract it from a body. What if I make it worse?”
“You can’t, believe me.” he said seriously, closing his eyes and shaking his head from right to left, “But you can extract it.” Then he took steps closer, eyes sliding down from mine to my lips.
I backed away slowly, at his pace, “W-What are you doing?”
“All you have to do is kiss me.”
I frowned and my eyes widened in disbelief, “What?!”
“Don’t make this face. It’s not even a real kiss.”
“That doesn’t change anything!” I exclaimed, throwing my hands at him to push his body.
When they came in contact with his shoulders, a dim light emanated from his chest and small, red sparks danced against his black vest, before vanishing as new sparks appeared.
The young man brought an hand to his heart and stumbled forward with a grunt. I stepped backward, but my back quickly bumped against the window, and his other hand slammed in the glass, trapping me.
His knees weakened and his elbow folded at the same time, making his chest press against mine. He had closed his eyes tightly and lowered his head- he was so close that I could feel his hair brush against my temple.
Taking my hands off the wall, I lifted them to his shoulders. But before I could touch him, the window slid open, making the young man loose his support and fall on me. I quickly wrapped my arms around him, with a huff when I received his weight, and got down to the wooden floor.
“What’s going on?!” suddenly asked the one who had barged in my room, flying by the window with long and white-feathered wings spread on each side of his body- now I couldn’t have any more doubt that he was an Angel.
I looked up, “He fainted. Help me put him on the bed.”
“Oh so now you help creatures?”
“Hurry up, he’s injured!” I exclaimed, showing the man half-lying on me with my hands.
He closed his wings in his back and jumped on the border of the window at the same time. Then he entered the room, the wings disappearing in a small glint.
He held a hand out in the direction of the unconscious creature, the next second he was levitating to the bed.
I got up and patted my with a pout.
“You should’ve just let him fall.”
“Hey. Can’t you see he’s gravely injured? Angels shouldn’t be mean.”
“We’re not flawless beings.”
“What is he?”
“A Goblin.”
“As I thought.”
“Dinner is ready, Yong Gi-yah!” suddenly called Jun Young from the stairs.
Grabbing my penguin pajama from the footboard, I jumped on my feet and opened the door, “Coming in five minutes!” Then I turned to the man leaning on my desk.
“I’m going to keep an eye on him,” he said. “He’s not invisible anymore, make sure your parents don’t come up. They could be surprised to see this.”
When I went back up to my room, the angel was sitting cross-legged against my bed, arms also crossed over his chest. I sat on the edge of the mattress, “Is he still unconscious?” “No but he’s weak right now. He woke up a bit to tell me that you had accepted to extract the corrupted magic from his body, then fell asleep. Do you even know how magic is extracted?” he asked as if he was dumbfounded that I could have accepted. “Yeah he told me. I have to kiss him, right?” “Actually you
