“How long are you going to follow me?” First, only silence answered my interrogation. Then a, not so light, tap resonated in the small alley I had walked in. The young man's deep voice asked in turn, “When did you notice?” “Almost immediately.” I turned. Min Yoon Gi was pressing his back against the wall and slowly crossing his arms over his ribs. “But I didn't want to seem crazy because of your invisibility spell...” “Woaw. You're becoming more and more sensitive,” he hummed, but didn't really sounded impressed, as always. “And where are you going?” “Just strolling.” “Didn't you said it was your first time in Daegu?” I nodded. “Then don't take strolls alone. It'll be a pain if you get lost. Even more if you're attacked.” I snorted. “Appreciate your concern. And you, what're you doing?” “Going to my parents' place.” I remembered Yoon Gi had mentioned he was from here. “I’ve been wondering why your parents live in Daegu. Don't Goblins usually prefer to be far from Humans?” “Yeah...” He scoffed, and shrugged with a small smile. “Guess they're just weird.” “I'll tell on you if I meet them.” “Don't waste your time. They already heard it directly from me.” I chuckled and shook my head. “You're heartless.” Yoon Gi smirked. “Maybe.” “At least you admit it.” “And live without any burden.” “I'm not even surprised.” “And I'm not surprised that you're not surprised.” His smirk widened in a grin. “Gosh, go now. Your parents must be waiting!” I started to turn away from the goblin as I waved an hand. “See you later, old ma- Aah!!” I stumbled backward clumsily, like a baby learning to walk, as I yelped with the widest eyes I might ever have had. “What?” “What? Yah! How did you get here so fast?!” “You really need to fix that rude attitude.” I pursed my lips and looked away. Blah, blah, blah... “I'm a goblin, half-idiot, I can become a shadow so...” “Can't you just stop with that ‘half-idiot’ now?” “Stop with the ‘old man’ and I'll see what I can do for you.” “There's a difference between the two: I'm not a real idiot, but you're a real old man, aren't you?” “Whatever.” He gestured to the alleyway in his back with a thumb above his shoulders. “Follow me.” “Why would I?” I scoffed, raised my chin and rested my hands on my hips. I was purposely provoking him, I admit. But Yoon Gi didn’t faze, he smirked. And I started to doubt my choice. His eyes slowly traveled down to my waist. Before I could proceed anything, he had closed an arm around it. He pushed on the ground and flew up in the sky so fast, I screamed all the air I had in my lungs, until I choked miserably. As he finally stopped, he just stated calmly, “Because you’re going to respect your elders.” “The hell is wrong with you!!” I yelled at his face and tri
