When my eyes closed, I felt my conscience leaving me. Everything went completely silent and my body heavily fell to the ground. When I woke up, I was floating in a golden light, which I could perceive behind my closed lids. In that moment, all the fear and the anger had disappeared, I felt safe and peaceful. “The time has come for you to discover the truth,” a soft woman voice spoke. “We need you.” My mouth didn’t open, but then my own voice resonated as I thought, “What is the truth? I’m scared.” “Don’t be, sweetheart.” I immediately recognized that voice. I tried to open my eyes but my lids felt heavy and my body wouldn’t answer my will. “Eomma?! Is it really you? I want to see you!” “I’m sorry, baby, you can’t see me. But don’t be afraid, you are not alone. I'm always watching over you, and they will always be by your side.” “Who?” “They are waiting for you. They stopped speaking when my eyes slowly fluttered open, and the faces of the three young men bent over mine with an expecting expression. “I’m awake,” I informed them weakly as I sat up, mind still a bit misty. My head felt heavy. I lifted an hand to grab it, frowning as an headache appeared. “What happened?” Nam Joon explained, “The corrupted deity, Fyhdohr, absorbed a big portion of your Maryeok; making you faint. Then the Deity of the Sky, Na'Il, moved you to a parallel space. You came back when Fyhdohr had run away.” I recalled what that… I didn't even know how to call him… But I recalled really well what he had done. And so much anger filled me that I had the impression that I could implode. That-! “Bastard! I’ll tear his head off the next time I see him!” exclaimed Nam Joon. His fists balled and his eyes took a fierce glint; angels can be a lot more dangerous than you imagine. “You’ll have to dismember him,” I said, attracting surprised glances from the men. “He was the one who… murdered… all these innocents…” Of course, silence followed. “Did he also murdered Creatures?” then lowly asked Seok Jin, as if he was afraid of the answer.
