CHAPTER SEVEN

Jealousy, an evil within oneself.

The week following their time with Sewon is hectic and hilarious. Sunggyu went through an appointment and meeting after meeting assigned by Woohyun’s father, the President himself to manage an official event and press conferences regarding their new products.

He has specifically gone through the list of name that PR’s team has provided and consult with Mr. Nam regarding their invitation. It’s a private event and only those who are important enough for Nam. Corp will be invited.

By the time it was 6 pm on the said day, the president and his secretary leave the penthouse in a different car (to avoid suspicion as what Sunggyu said) and decided to meet at the entrance door for a meet and greet session with the reporter.

Nam Corporation has once again managed to break their own private record.

He leaves Woohyun for a second to assists Mr. Nam with the speeches, and the next thing when he looks up, there’s already a bunch of girls trying to flirt their way into his boyfriend’s heart.

Pfft. As if.

“Jeez dude, you need to calm down. Like seriously, those girls will catch on fire if you keep glaring like that.” The brunette turned to narrow his eyes at the accountant that had somehow snuck up beside him.

The shorter man leaned against a support pillar, one hand balancing a plate of the complimentary food while the other popped a grape into his mouth. 

“Good, they can burn.”

He returned to glaring at Woohyun, watching with displeasure as one of the young directors of their company sidled up to the President. While that particular movement made things worse, all of the women were much too close for his comfort, chatting and smiling charmingly at the heir of the Nam’s Corp. 

“Sunggyu, they’re doing their jobs, calm your . Besides, Woohyun looks at you like the sun shines out of your , so if there was even the slimmest chance of him leaving you, it definitely wouldn’t be for one of them.”
