Re-wind, never forget it.
you're my fifth season (impossibly warm)CHAPTER TWO
Re-wind, never forget it. (2015)
In a place out of time, it happens like this.
Kim Sunggyu, on the other hand, doesn’t have the time in life to spend over trivial things such as looking for a job to pay for his tuition fees. He doesn’t have the time to do anything other than getting his double degree done. He doesn’t remember the last time he did in his last four years of a degree, let alone in his high schools year. So why now when he has no other choice but to extend his semester, he needs to look for a job? Why can’t the government continue to pay for his tuition fees?
“Dongwoo, I can't do this anymore. I should listen to the old man and drop the degree and go looking for a rich bastard to be his trophy husband.” Sunggyu sighs heavily and rests his head on top of the table.
They were currently resting and spending their free period at a nearby café own by Dongwoo’s younger fiancée and trying really hard to find a job for Sunggyu to earn extra money to live and breathe.
Kim Sunggyu has always been a good and excellent student. So when the faculty mark fails for his thesis and refuse to publish the articles and graduates him from the college, Dongwoo start to wonder what has gone wrong. But Sunggyu didn’t show any hint of anger besides the occasional curse he did.
“Drop the act, hyung. I’ve been telling you before to drop the double degree and just majoring in music or whatever thing that you loves instead of taking accounting as your backup major.”
“You know that I need the degree to actually survive in this materialistic civilization.”
Dongwoo just nodded his head because yes, unless you have got the connection and the wealth, you can never survive in the world that Sunggyu has been dreaming about no matter how much of a talent that he has.
“How about this one? The description says that you only need to make a delivery only when needed-”
Sunggyu interrupts before Dongwoo can finish his sentences. “I’ve no licenses.”
Dongwoo gives him I told you to get a ing license look before deciding that it’s probably better to shut up than continue to nag. “Hmm, let’s see –Oh, this sounds good. Call-centre picks up guy.”
Sunggyu shook his head. “Too boring.”
“Part-time store assistant?”
Sunggyu takes a look at the store name before cringe at the word pharmacy. “Not a big fan of medicine.”
Dongwoo put the newspaper before flail his arm comically. “I'm giving up. You’re an impossible case.” Sunggyu continues to pout at the others word. It’s not his fault that he values his sleep more than money. He probably should just beg his brother to lend him some money that he gets from modeling to live. But Sunggyu, if you know him, is a man with a pride.
“Please don’t Dongwoo. I swear that I won’t say anything after this.” Sunggyu gives his best puppy-eyes that he knows his best friend can’t resist.
“Stop bothering him you folk.” Hoya, Dongwoo’s fiancée slash jerk of a century come interrupting their conversation (and Sunggyu’s fail attempt to manipulate the younger) bringing his own cup of long black coffee. Sunggyu grimace at the amount of caffeine contained.
