Okay this is how it goes. For those of you are against Taegi ending, this is the ending for you. Full Stop. Don't read the next chapter (unless you're curious about the happy ending) For those who want Taegi ending, this is just an extra chapter for you that you MUST read. I repeat, you MUST read this. If not, the happy version of the epilogue will not make (full) sense.

Yoongi slowly opened his eyes when he felt the sun shining on his face. He turned his head to stare at the space beside him, melancholy filling up his heart. He knew; expected that the bed would be empty, but he couldn't help but hoped. Hoped that it was all just a nightmare. Hoped that Taehyung would still be there sleeping.

He got off the bed and went to shower. When he got out of the bathroom, coincidentally his phone rang. He threaded across the room to retrieve his phone on the bedside table and stare at the unknown phone number. He immediately rejected the call and proceeded to put on his clothes.

He walked out of his bedroom and immediately went to the door to put on his shoes, forcing himself to not glance at the kitchen. After that one time, he never stepped into the kitchen again.

He wanted to put something into the kitchen fridge, but when he closed the door of the refrigerator and turned to look at the kitchen, memories started filling him up. Taehyung cooking, Taehyung smiling, Taehyung serving him breakfast, Taehyung looking happy. Who knew the last was a lie, that Taehyung was capable of hiding his misery so well. Yoongi slammed his back against the fridge and slid down, pulling his knees towards him as he fought back tears. He never understood why Taehyung left him; Yoongi had changed. Yoongi had promised to stay loyal and he did. But apparently it was not enough for Taehyung. Maybe Taehyung wanted someone to love him entirely, dedicated solely to him. And as much as it pains Yoongi to acknowledge it, he wasn't that man. And no matter how selfishly he wanted Taehyung for himself, he knew that Taehyung deserve someone better than him. But somehow, letting Taehyung go was more heart-wrenching that letting Jimin go, his supposed love of his life. Heavens knew how long he sat there crying for a man that he never knew he loved so much.

He was driving to work when the same unknown number called him again. He rejected the call with a slide of his finger, mind boggled as to who was calling him.

He was in a staff meeting when the exact same number called him. He ignored it as the phone vibrated on the table. His staff stared at each other, shocked that their boss - who never allowed any of them to bring a phone to a staff meeting - had brought his in.

After the meeting, his phone rang again, this time displaying the number of his private investigator. He immediately answered the call at the first ring.

"You found him?" he asked anxiously.

"Sorry sir, our last trail ended at a dead end," the man answered grimly.

"Then find more trails! Use your brain for once!" Yoongi exclaimed.

"Sorry sir, but we're trying our best," the man apologised.

"That's what you said 8 months ago. I'm tired of waiting!" he shouted. Aware that he might be attracting attention, he lowered his voice. "Please, I need to find him," he pleaded.

"Yes sir," the man affirmed. Yoongi hung up and threw the phone on the table. He was massaging his head in stress when his office phone rang.

"Good morning sir, there's a man here who wants to see you," his secretary informed. He refused it, telling her to tell that man to go home.

"He says his name is Jung Hoseok and he knows what you're looking for," she continued. Yoongi stared at the phone and told her to send him in.

"I called you multiple times," Hoseok chided immediately as he entered the room. So that's who had been calling him since morning, Yoongi thought. Yoongi only hummed as he walked toward the couch.

"You've gotten thinner," Hoseok observed. Yoongi hummed again. "Visibly thinner. Seriously are you taking care of yourself?" he continued as he sat down on the couch opposite Yoongi.

"Why would you care?" Yoongi asked.

"Is it wrong to care for an ex-college friend?"

"We weren't friends, Hoseok," Yoongi countered. Hoseok smirked.

"That's what I told myself as well until Jimin came along and forced me to acknowledge you as a friend," Hoseok shrugged. Yoongi scoffed.

"How's Jimin doing?"

"He's doing great. His final year exam is coming up soon, he's pretty stressed out about it," Hoseok replied, worry evident in his voice.

"He's probably dieting like now," Yoongi remarked to which Hoseok nodded. “Final year..." Yoongi trailed, lost in his own thoughts.

Hoseok took the opportunity to scrutinise the Min Yoongi in front of him. Hoseok noted the lines on his face had increased; the dark circles under his eyes have darkened probably a result of the sleepless nights. But the thing that was the most noticeable was the slump of his shoulders and his dull eyes. 2 years ago, the exact same eyes were filled with calmness and happiness in Yoongi's own way. But ever since he left, Yoongi looked more like a zombie stuck in a routine rather than a living human. For the first time in Hoseok's life, he pitied the man.

"Okay, I won't beat around the bush. Taehyung contacted me last night," Hoseok informed. Yoongi's head snapped up at this news.

"What?!" Yoongi pressed.

"He apologised to me for disappearing for 2 years. Told me he'd make up for that, so he gave me his address. Then he asked about how I was doing and how you and Jimin were," Hoseok answered. Yoongi frowned.

"He was under the impression that you guys got back together after he left," Hoseok explained, seeing the confusion in Yoongi's eyes.

"He expected me to get back with Jimin, after I promised him that I will stay loyal to him?" Yoongi asked incredulously.

"I wouldn't be surprised, to be honest," Hoseok shrugged, earning a glare from Yoongi. "But then I told him that Jimin was doing well and uh... Sort of implied that Jimin and I were together. He was speechless."

"Then he asked about you and I said I don't know much since I don't really know you that well. Then he told me to not give you the address that he gave to me earlier on," Hoseok said. He took out his wallet and pulled out a piece of paper.

"Then why..?" Yoongi turned speechless. What was Hoseok’s intention then?

"I've seen you in all of your states. And I must say, this is the worst state I've seen you in and as a... friend, if I could help, I should. I guess. So..." Hoseok slide the paper across the table, scribbled with an address, "go find him, fix yourself."

"Jimin's kindness is rubbing off on you, it seems," Yoongi teased as he took the piece of paper with his shaky hands. It was the first time that he was able to pull hints of a smile after a long time. Hoseok scoffed.

"Yah, that's now what you're supposed to say, idiot," Hoseok shot back. Yoongi smiled as Hoseok stood up.

"Thanks, Hoseok," Yoongi thanked that man in front of him sincerely.

"I would say no problem, but I still have a problem seeing you and Taehyung together. I hope you still remember that punch that I gave you in this room. Hur

Chapter 30: Awesomely great story!
I'm either mad at the first story where Yoongi treated him badly, even cheating behind his back. But the happy ending made it all worthy!

Thank you for the great story of them! Would like to read it again some other time!
