Yoongi is down with a cold.

That’s right. The man, who prided himself to have never fallen sick, was down with a cold.

Yoongi groaned as he pulled the covers to wrap around him tighter. He felt disgusted with the feeling of constant sweat on his skin but was unable to do anything about it. He was nauseous and his energy is drained. He hated being weak and dependent. He can’t even swallow down food without feeling lethargic after a few spoons. His feverish body is warming up the bed and he kept tossing and turning to find a cooler spot to get rid of the heat. Water was hard to drink, as if it was scraping his throat as it moved along. He hates being sick.

A knock came and the door opened to reveal Taehyung. The person that made Yoongi this way. To think that the man managed to pimp a ride within minutes after he got out of his car the other day, Yoongi scoffed at how foolishly he had worry himself over his spouse’s well-being.

“You feeling okay?” Taehyung asked as he set down a glass of water and his medication at the bedside table. He sat on the bed, leaning towards Yoongi with one hand.

“Worst,” Yoongi grumbled. Taehyung smirked and placed the back of his hand on Yoongi’s forehead.

“Well it was your fault for getting sick in the first place. I mean, if you didn’t chase me out of the car, you wouldn’t have to worry about me being caught in the rain,” Taehyung shrugged as he passed the medication to Yoongi. Yoongi tried to sit up.

“Shut the up,” Yoongi hissed before popping the pills into his mouth. Taehyung only chuckled and stood up.

“I tried to cook porridge, but I can’t do it. So I’m going out to buy porridge,” Taehyung said as he whipped out his phone and scrolled through his contact list. “I’m be calling Jiminie to take care of you since you can’t do .”

“Jiminie?” Yoongi choked on his water. Jimin?

“Yeah, Jiminie, my best friend.”

Taehyung walked out as he called his friend, leaving Yoongi in a daze over the prospect of meeting his lover again.

“YOU WANT ME TO DO WHAT?!” Jimin screamed into the phone. Taehyung pulled the phone away from his ear from his best friend’s high-pitched voice.

“Please Jiminie, you just need to stay in the same house as Yoongi-hyung. Don’t  have to do much other than entertain him when he gets all grumpy and ,” Taehyung explained. Jimin huffed.

“Why me though?” Jimin asked, as he tried not make his panic obvious.

“I would call his friends, but they live too far. Jiminie please! Just 1 hour I promised. The store is very near!” Taehyung begged.

Jimin was not prepared to see Yoongi. Especially after their break-up, Jimin had tried his best to stay away from both Taehyung and Yoongi. But being a soft-hearted person that he is, he couldn’t not help his best friend.
