A thousand words
More than a Pretty faceStaring was never a habit of mine but the girl infront of me is totally redefining everything about me.
"Hey, you." She uttered, her words barely a whisper.
My words were caught at the junction of my throat making it hard for me to speak casually to her.
"Haeun!"
We both turned and caught sight of the waitress that welcomed me and my members earlier. She looked surprised and quite flustered seeing us. Am i correct was that the name of the girl infront of me that she exclaimed?
"Haeun! What are you doing here, you know how sensitive you are to the sun you pabo!"
I assessed her clothing she was too wrapped up, and her hand clutched her arm protectively, she was clearly hiding something from the waitress.
"Unnie, i'm fine, I hardly go out of Seoul during daytime, and look i'm all bundled up." she reasoned and did a twirl showing how she was fully dressed.
Her unnie looked unconvinced and shook her head in disdain before turning to look at me.
"Sir, I'm sorry for the inconvenience my sister might've caused--" "Hey I didn't--" She brought a hand over Haeun's mouth to shut her up then continued "Your order has been placed at the table and your friends might be frantic now with your absence, so may I you back to your table and rid yourself from my sister's inconvenience?"
I peeked over her shoulder where Haeun was now looking at her wrist worriedly where a sliver of what seem to be an angry rash with the complexion of a bruise was spreading and which she, hid with her sleeve gently.
It was embarrasing to decline and she looks like one of those overprotective nuna's so sneaking one last glance at Haeun and luckily she met my gaze, I accepted her sister's offer and walked back to my members. Which were already wolfing down on their meals as our manager looked at them in disgust for their poor table manners.
-------
They could tell I was stalling because I did countless of ridiculous things to keep myself from leaving the cafe knowing Haeun was still there and they found it peculiar since most of the time I was the eager one to go home quickly, but due to some unlucky circumstances I wasn't able to exchange numbers with her since her nuna was on guard
