I POSTED CHAPTER SIXTEEN RIGHT BEFORE THIS (don't really wanna call it a double update because this post doesn't count as an update). GO READ THAT FIRST IF YOU HAVEN'T YET.

IT'S SMILE'S ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY.

This stupid story was started a whole year ago.

Lemme tell you how it went down.

"There are like no Hoseok fics. My poor bias. But he's always able to keep smiling. I love his smile so much."

"Tae has such a cute smile omgggggg that rectangle though."

"Wow I'm feeling angsty."

"Ahhh Vhope is so cute."

"Oh my god. WHAT IF I -"

And thus, this was born.

IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A ONESHOT. THEN IT WAS GOING TO BE A TWOSHOT. THEN A THREESHOT.

AND NOW LOOK WHERE IT IS I'M CRYING MY STORY EVOLVED ON ITS OWN.

I actually cannot believe I've gotten this far. Part of the reason I started writing this story was so that I could challenge myself to write a story and *finish it*.

Obviously, this story isn't done yet, but it's closer to the end than the beginning.

The other main reason I started this story was because I wanted to tell a story about people being there for each other. People going through tough things, and coming out stronger because they went through it together and helped each other.

Each main character (Hoseok, Tae, Yoongi) is inspired by different things that I've gone through in my life, and all of three of them have traits that are similar to some of my traits. They mean a lot to me. Heh.

So a while ago, I asked you guys to respond to a poll about what pairing you wanted at the end of the fic, and I told you I would give it to you again. Now is that time! This poll was kind of a test for me - I'll find out if I passed today. And I'll explain what I mean by that at the end of this story.

I'm considering doing a Q&A for the story, or writing a chapter specifically from the point of view of a character other than Hoseok (instead of third person omniscient like I usually do ((although I mostly only reveal Hoseok's thoughts and feelings because spoilers))).
