"After the junior prom, we didn't really become together, couple together, it's like we had a silent agreement of what we have but of course, being a girl, I over think a lot. I needed the confirmation."

"So did you confront him?"

"I wasn't able to. I got casted with sm entertainment."

"Heol!" I nodded to jisoo and told her I was training with the girl group that is now known as Red Velvet

"And it turns out he was accepted by Bighit Entertainment as well. His mixed tapes were recognised so we got really busy. From school and with the training."

"But were you still able to communicate?"

"Barely! When I come visit him he'd be sleeping and if he'd come to visit me, I'd be the one who's sleeping. I thought my body and mind's gonna burn out from all the exhaustion and thinking of where I stand with him is adding on to that."

"So how?"

"Summer came and we stayed in with our respective companies for more training. Mom was so happy hearing about it and she's very proud with yoongi too." I sighed and got up to drink water

"Nadoo~" I gave jisoo a glass then got back to bed

"Our communication didn't cut off during the summer tho. It was hard. Getting like a 30-min to an hour interval before getting a reply was driving me nuts! Good thing the training is helping me not really minding the time. Even so, when we get too tired to type, we just send each other Zzz, meaning good night. That we'll be knocked out in a sec."

"It's like having a long distance relationship huh."

"Mhm. But I think that made our feelings grow more. Making us miss each other." My eyes stung as a memory flashed of yoongi running and carried me to a hug when we went home as the summer training ended. I hugged him just as tight as I sniffed the scent that I have come to miss so much.

"We were inseparable before, but after that we were stuck like magnet, our world revolved around each other every time we have a free time... and I've never felt so happy." I added the last line in a whisper.

"Senior prom was coming and I was nervous he'd pull another scheme but this time, he surprised me. In front of all the people in the cafeteria, there he was in the middle, with the piano." Jisoo gasped and I giggled

"Jennie? Yah! Jennie Anne Kim!" I was drawn back to reality and I looked to my right where Irene was standing, both hands on her hips

"Yes? Hehe..." I awkwardly laughed

"Uggghh. Nevermind. Aren't you gonna go back to your school?" My eyebrows furrowed not getting what she's saying

"Hahahaha unnie! You're gonna be late for your class! It's still friday silly." I gasped and looked down, I was wearing my school uniform. I looked around and noticed we were in a cafe.

"Tsk. Tsk. It's the 21st century, you can be the one to ask him to prom!" I chunked a sugar cube on wendy as I stood up and grabbed my things

"I was not worried about prom!" I denied

"Right. And you're not blushing." Seulgi laughed and the rest teased me.

I quickly ran to my school which was just a few meters away. Good thing I'm wearing my sneakers right now instead of the heels.

I rushed to the gate and  went to the classroom but no one was there.

"No one's here. Everyone's in the cafeteria." I turned to nancy who was getting something on her bag

"Why?" She looked at me like I was crazy

"Uhmm.. lunch?" What? She shrugged and walked out. My phone rang and I answered it without looking on my phone

"Hello?" I could only here people laughing on the other line. I looked to who was calling and it was seulgi

"I-I can't hahahaha believe hahahha" she couldn't stop laughing

"What are you on?!" I yelled but she just continued laughing

"You actually left us." I am so confused

"Oh whatever, I can't believe you were so out of it." She laughed

"Unnie! We were just here for like 10 mins! How can you rush out like you're really running late to class" joy managed to talk between her giggles that eventually turned to a full blown laughter.

I then realized that I was just spacing out earlier and they pranked me that I was already running late when in fact our 1 hour lunch time just started. I face-palmed.

"I am so sorryy! How could I be so stupid?!" I blame my lack of sleep from practice and thinking if yoongi will ask me to prom.
