DAW - Friday
ButterflyOk I know I'm behind but this is Fridays, and todays will be up in a few hours. (I say this because it's almost finished, so I should finish it soon and then edit/post it today)
There's not really a lot to say about Deaf clubs. They're just clubs that Deaf people can go to to socialise and stuff. Usually they have a lot of games or entertainment on, and they can plan campaigns and things like that. It's like any club, really.
So anyway there wasn't a lot I could write, but I wanted to write a chapter based on Yoongi in the Deaf club, and his emotions and how he feels about it. So this is a short but sweet chapter I guess?
When: Yoongi is 13!!! (smol yoongs) this is like 7 years before he even knows Jimin exists omfg. This is also pre-Seokjin! (He met Seokjin when he was 14)
Yoongi’s favourite day was Tuesday. For many reasons, really. On Tuesday he had art class, his favourite class, and math class, which he was always good at. On Tuesday his granddad usually took him out for dinner. On Tuesday his favourite TV show was always on, the only show done completely in sign.
On Tuesday he had Deaf club.
Yoongi was always happy. But he was happiest at Deaf club. He was happiest there because, even though he went to a Deaf school, and he saw his friends at school every day, there were some people who he didn’t see in school.
Like Minah. His best friend. And even if he did meet up with her outside of Deaf club, he still cherished the time to spend with her, and their other friends, too.
So as soon as school ended, he packed his bag quickly and ran out to find his granddad’s car. He always parked in the same place, so it wasn’t hard to find him.
-Did you have a good day?- he asked as Yoongi slipped into the car.
Yoongi nodded. He signed excitedly about his classes while his granddad drove, sometimes stopping to stare out the window for a moment if the man was too focused on the road.
When they arrived, Yoongi took off his seatbelt. -Are you coming?-
