It's 2am and I'm going to upload todays a little earlier because I'm super busy today!

Thank you to the one person who requested a Deaf awareness topic! I now have 7 requests for 7 days. So I'm closing the requests again, because so many of you were sending ordinary requests ;n;

Anyway, something that every d/Deaf person deals with (and yes, including myself) is audism. It's important, if you are hearing, to stand up against it, especially if it's aimed at a deaf person who cannot hear them, and is unable to stick up for themselves. It's your duty to stand up for us if we are unable to. (That doesn't mean we can't stand up for ourselves! It's just if someone can't hear the audism going on)

So here is the twin's 16th birthday party, where Jisoo has to stand up for her deaf friends

When: twins are 16!

-You have to ask, not me- Yunsoo signed, frowning.

-Why me?-

-Because you can do that weird thing with your face that makes them say yes to anything.-

Jisoo grinned. -You mean this?- She pouted exaggeratedly and bat her eyelashes.

Yunsoo grimaced. -You’re so ugly.-

-You’re calling your own twin ugly?- Jisoo giggled. -Aren’t you calling yourself ugly too?-

-We’re not identical.-

-You look just like me- Jisoo signed dramatically.

-Just go- Yunsoo signed, pouting.

Jisoo laughed as she headed out from Yunsoo’s room, turning back and throwing a playful wink his way, which made him grimace even more.

“Pwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaasssseeeeee.” Jisoo pushed herself up against Jimin, who didn’t even spare her a glance, eyes fixed to the TV. It wasn’t good, he knew her tricks and the TV was amour.

“No. No parties unless me and your dad can be here.”

“But that’s not cool, dad! We won’t be bad, pleeeeeeeeease daddy!”

“No.”

“But-”

“No.”

Jisoo huffed, crossing her arms. “You’re no fun. Where’s dad?”

Jimin’s head snapped around to face her for the first time. “Jisoo, don’t you dare.”

“Is he napping?”

“Jisoo-”

She sprinted off quickly, racing up the stairs with Jimin following behind her. She could hear him yelling at her, telling her not to do it, but she didn’t listen.

She got to their room before he did, closing the door quickly and locking it. They’d finally put locks on their door after that horrible incident a few weeks ago, and in the end, it worked out in her favour, not theirs.

Jimin was knocking loudly on the door, yelling empty threats at her, but Jisoo didn’t listen. Yoongi had woken up from the commotion, sitting up in bed and rubbing his eyes as Jisoo climbed in besides him. She offered him her biggest smile, and of course Yoongi smiled back.

-What’s wrong?- he asked, his eyes scanning the door. -Is someone knocking?-

Jisoo shook her head. -It doesn’t matter. Can we talk about something?-

Yoongi nodded, yawning and stretching his arms out.

-Remember when I got an A in science on my last test?-

Yoongi nodded again. -Yes. We were very proud of you. Yunsoo got an A in maths, too. We’re proud of you both.-

-Do we get a reward?- Jisoo asked, batting her eyelashes slightly.

-What would you like?- Yoongi asked, smiling.

-We both turn 16 in two weeks. Would it be okay if we had a party?- Jisoo shuffled closer to him, pouting slightly. -I mean just me and Yunsoo, and a few friends.-

Yoongi frowned slightly. -I don’t know if that’s a good idea. Who will supervise you if you’re on your own?-

-Do you trust us?- Jisoo asked. She batted her eyelashes again.

Yoongi frowned even more. -Of course.-

-Please. We both really want to have this party. All of our friends had parties for their birthdays, and we really want to have one too. Please.- She batted her eyelashes and pouted as cutely as she could, even going as far as making her bottom lip tremble. That always did the job.

-Are you sure you will be okay by yourself?-

Jisoo nodded.

-And how many people are going?-

-I want to bring 10 friends and Yunsoo wants to bring 10 friends too.-

-And the party will be finished by 9PM?-

No. -Yes.-

Yoongi grinned. -Then I don’t see why not. It will give me and your dad a chance to go out for the day. You can have your party, and we will come home at 9pm.-

It was enough for now. Jisoo could work on changing his 9pm return to an overnight stay out later. Maybe she could bribe them with romantic one night stays in Busan, she knew they’d love that.

For now, she just signed with her dad about the party; who she wanted to come, who Yunsoo was inviting, what cake she wanted… The entire time, Yoongi watched her with a look of pure contentedness. A small smile on his face and a loving gaze. He really adored her, it was clear to anyone.

When they opened the door, Yoongi was startled to nearly have Jimin’s fist in his face. He stepped back just in time, and Jimin apologised, explaining that he was banging on the door and not trying to knock him out.

-You told me no one was knocking- Yoongi frowned at Jisoo, who smiled back cheekily.

Jimin tapped his shoulder. -What did she say in there?-
