Yoongi remained in hiding for the first few days of residence in his new home, and Hoseok let him be. Hoseok brought the Hybrid food and drinks whenever he made some for himself, and judging by the clean plates and empty glasses left outside of the closet door, his new friend was eating and drinking like he should be.      After a week of waking up to the Hybrid hiding, Hoseok was surprised when he woke up to find Yoongi crouching on the floor at the foot of his bed. Yoongi was facing away from Hoseok; facing the door. His ears were alert, flicking around as if listening for possible intruders.    Passers by would've mistaken him for guarding his owner. Though you wouldn't find many passers by in Hoseok's bedroom. Or at least he hoped not.    "Yoongi? What are you doing?" The dancer questioned, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.   The Hybrid spun his head around, eyes making contact with Hoseok's as his fluffy pink tail curled around the bedpost. He didn't answer the question; he just stared at his owner blankly.    Sitting up in bed, Hoseok stretched. Yoongi remained where he was, staring at the closed door of the bedroom. A low growl erupted from the Hybrid, ears pinning back and teeth being bared.   The doorbell rang.   "Oh I forgot, Namjoon is coming round today!"    Jumping out of bed, Hoseok sprinted to the door while Yoongi darted back into the closet. Opening the door, Hoseok was greeted with the sight of a tall, silver haired human and a slightly shorter, brown haired, fox Hybrid.    "Morning Namjoon, morning Jin." Hoseok said with a smile.   "Did you forget we were coming today?" Namjoon questioned, looking at Hoseok's distinct lack of much clothing.   "I just woke up, sorry. Please come in." Hoseok replied sheepishly.   Stepping aside, Hoseok let the two guests in. Closing the door, he followed Namjoon into the kitchen. Jin on the other hand, froze in place. The Hybrid's ears shot to attention, his tail following suit.    "Yoongi is in the bedroom if you want to go and find him." Hoseok said, heading in to the kitchen along with Namjoon.   "Okay." Jin answered, walking out of the kitchen and cautiously making his way into the bedroom.    When he entered, he immediately felt the presence of the other Hybrid. Heading over to the slightly ajar closet door, he poked his head into the small gap. His sharp eyes spotted the pink hair, shortly before he was tackled to the ground by the owner of said hair.    Yoongi had Jin pinned on his back, hands digging into the fox Hybrid's shoulders while he straddled him. Jin stared at the boy in shock, but he wasn't afraid. He'd dealt with scared Hybrid's before.    "You don't have to be afraid of me, Yoongi. I won't hurt you."    Yoongi remained where he was, pinning the fox Hybrid to the bedroom floor. However, Jin felt him relax ever so slightly, giving him the opportunity to flip him over. The next thing Yoongi knew, he was on his back being pinned by Jin.   "My name is Jin. I'm Namjoon's Hybrid. It's nice to meet you."    Meanwhile, said owner was sat at the kitchen table, along with Hoseok who had slipped on a clean t shirt he'd found in the dryer. He'd made himself a hot beverage while Namjoon opted to help himself to the cold drinks in the fridge. On the table next to them, was the box Hoseok had been given when he adopted Yoongi; unopened.   "So, how's living with a Hybrid treating you? How is Yoongi?" Namjoon asked with a smile.   "Well, he hasn't said a word since he got here. He spends most of his time hiding in my bedroom closet. But he's been eating and drinking properly so I'm not all that worried about him. Is that normal? Did Jin do that when you first got him?" Hoseok questioned.   Namjoon shook his head.   "Jin didn't do that, but I wouldn't say it's uncommon. It's like any new pet when they're placed in an unfamiliar environment. They're going to be scared when they first arrive in their new home." Namjoon responded. "What's in the box?"   "It was given to me when I adopted Yoongi. Some sort of information/supplies pack. I've not actually opened it yet." The young dancer said, pulling it in between the two.   Namjoon stared at the box for a moment, before placing his hands on the lid and looking to Hoseok for approval of his action. After receiving approval from Hoseok

Chapter 20: The only complaint I had while reading this is that there seemed to be gaps in the story timeline. Like a chapter missing in between a lot of events.

Chapter 19: I don't even care what's more realistic or better for a yoongi based book, of an ending. But the original ending is all I wish to have known. The tears. The tears I shed from the first ending could have been nonexistent if only I read just the original. WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME. MY HEART FEELS LIKE IT'S BEEN RIPPED FROM MY CHEST.

Your writing was so good and so entertaining. I lived the plot and I'm so happy to have gotten to read this. Thank you!!

Chapter 19: Ong wow. Tbh different from most of the other commenters, I like the original ending more because you know, as a Jin biased, the first ending is just heartbreaking. Anyways good fic

Chapter 19: I loved the story and am grateful for both endings. As heartbreaking as the revised ending is, it was more yoongi-centric, which felt right for the story. But I'm very very happy you left the original ending in too- I like the thought of Jackson being adopted to guide Jin and overall that ending too was very nice.
