He'd been thinking about it for a while now; about getting his own Hybrid, but he was never entirely sure. Being the only one out of him and his friends without one, Hoseok decided now was the time. After some gentle persuasion from his friends that is.    Walking into the adoption centre, Hoseok was greeted with the sight of humans wandering around in white lab coats. Some were walking around with clipboards, others were chatting to families that were hoping to adopt. The room was white, and looked very much like a doctor's waiting room. On the left side of the room was a set of double doors with the word 'private' written in large letters. To the right there was a waiting area with roughly a dozen seats; four of them were occupied. In the very centre next to the wall, was a reception desk with a brown haired man sat behind it, working away on his computer.    Walking towards the desk, Hoseok had a smile on his face. Everything in this place seemed to be normal so far. Well, as normal as it can be in an adoption centre for Hybrids. Standing in front of the desk, Hoseok greeted the receptionist.   "Hello, how can I help you? My name is Park Jaemin, but please do call me Jaemin. Are you looking to adopt? Or just looking?" Jaemin greeted, standing up from his desk.   "Hi, I'm Jung Hoseok, it's nice to meet you." Hoseok responded with a smile. "I'm looking to adopt."   "Alright, if you'll follow me, I'll take you through."    Following Jaemin, Hoseok was taken through the large double doors that he had noticed earlier. Through the doors, it was like a completely different setting. The place looked like a normal animal shelter, only with bigger cages. The cages were all quite large and set out in blocks, so visitors were able to view them from all angles. It was like walking through a large maze that was easy to solve.    The cages themselves had a solid concrete wall as the back, with three chain linked walls and a door. They were large enough to house the Hybrids in a comfortable environment. There was enough room to do a few laps in, along with a bed that was hidden away in what looked like a large dog house. All the Hybrids had ID numbers, along with their pictures and characteristics.    As Hoseok was shown the Hybrids waiting to be adopted, Jaemin began to explain what Hoseok needed to know.    "Is this your first time adopting a Hybrid?" Jaemin asked as they past a cute lion Hybrid.   "Yeah it is." Hoseok replied smiling.   "Alright, I'll go through the care process once you have chosen a Hybrid, but for now I'll go through the different categories. Choosing a Hybrid from the right category is important as you need to make sure you choose one to fit your needs." Jaemin explained. "Category A Hybrids are for people who are just looking for companionship; much like a normal pet, such as a dog or a cat. Category B Hybrids are for people who are looking for more than just companionship. Usually couples who are unable to conceive a child adopt Hybrids from this category, treating them like their own child. Category C Hybrids are for people who need to be taken care of or need extra help around the house. These Hybrids will usually be put to work, doing chores and cooking meals for their families. And finally, category D Hybrids are usually adopted for the owners personal pleasure."   Hoseok felt something twist in his stomach.    "What do you mean by that?" He asked cautiously yet curiously, even though he was sure he already knew the answer.   "Category D Hybrids are usually adopted and used as personal play things." Jaemin replied.   "Like slaves?" Hoseok grimaced.   Just thinking about the idea of Hybrids being pounded into by dirty old men who didn't give a rats about them made him feel sick to his stomach. No one should be treated like that, Hybrid or not. Hoseok wondered how Jaemin could talk about it so casually.   "So, which category will it be, sir?" The receptionist asked, coming to a stop outside a cage with a young husky Hybrid sitting on the floor staring up at them.   "Category A or B will be fine." Hoseok answered, smiling at the husky through the bars.   "Alright, follow me."    Following the receptionist through another set of doors, Hoseok was greeted by a long corridor with cages on either side. A big sign on the left of the room read 'Category A' and on the right side of the room 'Category B'.    "Alright! Visitor! Line up!" Jaemin shouted as he pressed a button next to the door, setting off the sound of a bell ringing.   Hoseok was surprised at how loud the bell was, but as Jaemin lead him down the corridor he was even more surprised to find that all the Hybrids within the cages were kneeling in front of the bars of their cages, ears alert and tails flicking. Hoseok passed by many different Hybrids, looking at each one with a smile. Dogs, lions, tigers, foxes, panthers, leopards, cats; there was such a wide variety that Hoseok thought it was going to be difficult to choose.    "Seen any you like?" Jaemin asked.   Hoseok shook his head. The truth was he liked the looks of all of them, but none of them really stood out to him. However, when they reached the end of the corridor, a lone cage on its own caught his eye. Like all the other cages, it had a concrete back wall. However, this cage had a door in the wall, and instead of three chain linked walls, it had three glass walls. Stuck to the glass, was a panel that held the Hybrids information, much like the other cages did. But there was something different about this one. There didn't appear to be a hybrid in it. Looking at the panel, Hoseok realised that unlike the other Hybrids in the shelter, this one had a name, not a number.   Name: Yoongi Age: 22 Characteristics: Aggressive   "Has this one been adopted?" Hoseok asked abs

Chapter 20: The only complaint I had while reading this is that there seemed to be gaps in the story timeline. Like a chapter missing in between a lot of events.

Chapter 19: I don't even care what's more realistic or better for a yoongi based book, of an ending. But the original ending is all I wish to have known. The tears. The tears I shed from the first ending could have been nonexistent if only I read just the original. WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME. MY HEART FEELS LIKE IT'S BEEN RIPPED FROM MY CHEST.

Your writing was so good and so entertaining. I lived the plot and I'm so happy to have gotten to read this. Thank you!!

Chapter 19: I loved the story and am grateful for both endings. As heartbreaking as the revised ending is, it was more yoongi-centric, which felt right for the story. But I'm very very happy you left the original ending in too- I like the thought of Jackson being adopted to guide Jin and overall that ending too was very nice.
