"You're going where?"    Standing at the front door the following morning with his bag hung over his shoulder, Hoseok looked back at the Hybrid standing a few feet away from him. The young dancer was dressed in grey sweat pants, converse and a black hoodie with a SnapBack keeping his hair out of his face.    "I have a dance audition. I'll be back tomorrow morning." Hoseok explained.   He'd received a text off Namjoon that morning telling him that there was an audition for an upcoming dance team in Daegu. Of course Hoseok had leapt out of bed gotten ready in record time. He wasn't going to pass up this opportunity.    "You're leaving me on my own..." Yoongi mumbled, ears flattening against his head.   "No! No, I'm not leaving you on your own. My neighbour is coming over to watch you. I'm sorry I can't take you with me." Hoseok replied, walking to pat Yoongi on the head before heading out of the door. "Yuta will be here in ten minutes. Be good."   The second the door closed, Yoongi his heel and headed into the living room. Plopping himself down on the sofa, there was nothing he could do but wait for his owner to return. Glancing up at the clock on the wall, the big hand had just ticked past 8am. Hoseok wouldn't be back for at least another twenty four hours.    The pink haired Hybrid pulled his knees to his chest and wrapped his arms around them. The tag of his collar rattled as it hit his blue jean covered legs. Though he spent most of the first week hiding from his new owner, he always knew that Hoseok was in the house somewhere close by. This was the first time Hoseok had left him for a long period of time.    Click.   The sound of the door opening knocked Yoongi out of his thoughts. His ears spun to the direction of the sound, listening as the sound of footsteps gradually increased. Seconds later, a man that looked to be a few years older than Hoseok entered the room. He had short black hair, dark brown eyes and stood a few inches taller than the Hybrid.    "Who let you on the sofa? Get off."    Yoongi didn't have time to reply before he was shoved off the sofa, landing in a heap on the floor. A low growl erupted from the Hybrid's throat as Yuta sat down on the sofa, completely taking up the entire couch. Yoongi glared at him from his position, tail curling around himself. Yuta met his gaze as he flicked the TV on.    "Animals belong on the ground." He sneered.   Clearly this human doesn't like animals or Hybrids, Yoongi thought.    Standing up slowly, Yoongi continued to glare at the human before beginning his journey out of the room. However, he was stopped in his tracks when Yuta's bellowing voice entered his ear canals.   "Where do you think you're going?    The human was on his feet and advancing towards Yoongi before he could answer. As Yuta advanced, Yoongi's survival instincts kicked in. He backed away just as quickly as Yuta moved forward, ears flattening and teeth being bared. He let out a warning growl as he noticed a large hand coming towards him. Yoongi's back hit the wall; he had nowhere to go. Yu

Chapter 20: The only complaint I had while reading this is that there seemed to be gaps in the story timeline. Like a chapter missing in between a lot of events.

Chapter 19: I don't even care what's more realistic or better for a yoongi based book, of an ending. But the original ending is all I wish to have known. The tears. The tears I shed from the first ending could have been nonexistent if only I read just the original. WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME. MY HEART FEELS LIKE IT'S BEEN RIPPED FROM MY CHEST.

Your writing was so good and so entertaining. I lived the plot and I'm so happy to have gotten to read this. Thank you!!

Chapter 19: Ong wow. Tbh different from most of the other commenters, I like the original ending more because you know, as a Jin biased, the first ending is just heartbreaking. Anyways good fic

Chapter 19: I loved the story and am grateful for both endings. As heartbreaking as the revised ending is, it was more yoongi-centric, which felt right for the story. But I'm very very happy you left the original ending in too- I like the thought of Jackson being adopted to guide Jin and overall that ending too was very nice.
