They were almost halfway to Daegu when Hoseok's phone began to buzz. Sitting in the passenger seat, Hoseok had decided to let Namjoon drive. Though he was beginning to wonder whether or not that was such a wise idea after nearly running three red lights and narrowly missing two cats within the first ten minutes of the journey.    Reaching into his pocket, Hoseok took out his phone, which continued to buzz in his hand. The caller was from a number he didn't recognise, but he thought it might be important so he decided it was best to answer it.   "Hello?" Hoseok answered, earning a side glance from Namjoon as he carried on across a junction.   "Hello, is this Jung Hoseok?" The caller replied.   "Yes, it is. Who is this?" The young dancer questioned, looking confused.   "Hello, I'm Mr.Lee, the chief operator at Seoul's Animal/Hybrid Pound. One of my officers found your Hybrid running through the streets of Seoul and brought him in. Luckily he was wearing his collar so we could call you."   Hoseok froze; his hand almost losing its grip on his phone. Yoongi was supposed to be at home being watched by Yuta.    "I left him with my neighbour...I don't understand..." The young dancer said in disbelief.    "He must've gotten out somehow." Mr.Lee expressed with understanding. "He needs to be collected within two weeks. If you wish to surrender him to us we will put him up for adoption for a seven-day period—"   "No, I will come and pick him up. He's been adopted too many times." With that, Hoseok hung up before Mr.Lee could answer him.   Shoving his phone back in his pocket, he sighed heavily. Namjoon's attention was now on him after staying quiet the whole time, though he still kept his eyes on the road.    "What's happened?" The taller man asked.   "Yoongi's at the Pound." Hoseok said, staring out of the window.    Namjoon didn't say anything. He didn't ask 'why' or bad mouth his friends Hybrid. Instead, he pulled over onto the side of the road and turned to his friend.    "What do you want to do?" He asked, looking Hoseok in the eyes.    Hoseok looked back at Namjoon, his mind processing a thousand thoughts a minute. What was more important? Potentially earning himself a place on a dance team, or Yoongi?    "Let's go back. There will be more auditions, but there's only one Yoongi."    Namjoon nodded, setting off again and swinging the car around, the two of them headed off b

Chapter 20: The only complaint I had while reading this is that there seemed to be gaps in the story timeline. Like a chapter missing in between a lot of events.

Chapter 19: I don't even care what's more realistic or better for a yoongi based book, of an ending. But the original ending is all I wish to have known. The tears. The tears I shed from the first ending could have been nonexistent if only I read just the original. WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME. MY HEART FEELS LIKE IT'S BEEN RIPPED FROM MY CHEST.

Your writing was so good and so entertaining. I lived the plot and I'm so happy to have gotten to read this. Thank you!!

Chapter 19: Ong wow. Tbh different from most of the other commenters, I like the original ending more because you know, as a Jin biased, the first ending is just heartbreaking. Anyways good fic

Chapter 19: I loved the story and am grateful for both endings. As heartbreaking as the revised ending is, it was more yoongi-centric, which felt right for the story. But I'm very very happy you left the original ending in too- I like the thought of Jackson being adopted to guide Jin and overall that ending too was very nice.
