"You did what?!" Hoseok yelled furiously down the phone.
When they had arrived at Namjoon's house, Hoseok had ordered his friend to run Yoongi a hot bath and get him some dry clothes while the owner himself phoned the very person who put the cat Hybrid in this mess.
"He bit me, so I chained him up outside to teach him a lesson." Yuta explained almost too casually on the other end of the phone.
"You don't do that to other people's pets, Yuta. You should've called me and let me deal with it, not wait for my Hybrid to escape and get caught by the Pound!" Hoseok growled. "Don't bother coming round again."
Hoseok put the phone down roughly, running a frustrated hand through his hair. He'd missed his audition because of his neighbours stupid actions.
Despite being bathed in hot water, Hoseok's Hybrid was still shivering. Sitting in the bath with his tail wrapped around his middle, Yoongi allowed Namjoon to wash his hair and ears. He was too exhausted and cold to care about what the human was doing. Yoongi's collar was sitting on the side of the sink, along with a clean black t shirt and grey sweat pants.
The Hybrid's left ear twitched as he heard his owners footsteps heading towards the bathroom. The slightly ajar door squeaked as it was softly pushed open, said owner padding in slowly. Yoongi remained entranced by the small waves created in the bath water every time Namjoon scooped his hand down in order to gather water to wash the Hybrid's hair, not bothering to acknowledge Hoseok in the slightest. He barely noticed when Namjoon switched with Hoseok, leaving the owner and Hybrid in peace.
"I'm sorry, Yoongi." Hoseok said sincerely.
Hoseok waited for a response but Yoongi remained silent.
"I shouldn't have left you." Hoseok added after receiving no reply.
The pink haired Hybrid glanced at the young dancer, eyeing the emotion that was present on the boys face. It was clear that Hoseok was deeply and truly sorry for leaving Yoongi with that bad man.
Then Hoseok noticed something. His eyes began to focus on the left side of the Hybrid's head. Tucked under the strands of wet pink hair, a dark patch of skin had begun to appear. A bruise.
The young dancer reached forward slowly, sliding his fingers underneath the pink hair to get a better look at the bruise. It was rather large, but could be hidden under Yoongi's hair. Hoseok accidentally applied pressure, causing the Hybrid to flinch away and growl. However, Yoongi realised what he was doing and immediately stopped, flattening his ears and looking away from his owner.
"Did Yuta do this?" Hoseok questioned.
Yoongi didn't answer verbally, but chose to nod instead. Hoseok let out a heavy, frustrated sigh. He couldn't believe what Yuta had done to his friend.
"What happened, Yoongi?" Hoseok said quietly.
"..."
It was clear that Yoongi was afraid. He was afraid that if he told Hoseok, he would be sent back to the adoption centre. Looking towards the water, Yoongi lifted his hand to cover the bruise, blocking it from his owners view. However, Yoongi's movement made Hoseok notice even more injuries, scattered throughout the Hybrid's body. They didn't look new.
Yoongi's neck harboured a light bruise f
