Sooyoung call Sungjae, she want him know about Minhyuk’s wish.., but he didn’t pick up her call, “Is he that busy?, I want to ask to him, should I come or not...” Tomorrow is the day, she already prepare clothes that she want to bring, but she still hesitate..
“Honestly, I feel a lot of closer to Minhyuk oppa..should I come or not?,” she asked to herself, but then after some thought she packed her clothes into a bag, “okay..I’ll come..I have nothing to do either.” She comes to convenience store near her hous to buy something, she meet Sungjae’s sister there,
“Oh..Sooyoung-ah..what did you bought?,” she asked when she saw Sooyoung bring a plastic bag.
“Ah..unni, just buy something to eat..My dad at home, but he already sleep from 5 hours ago..even though he said to me that he want to watch movie with me..” Sungjae’s sister laugh at her,
“Ah..same with Sungjae, he already on his bed from 3 hours ago, he said tomorrow he and his teammates will be head to Jeju island early morning..” Sooyoung try to remember..why Sungjae’ll go to Jeju island tomorrow,
“Ah..math competition?, ah..he’ll go tomorrow morning..” they walk together to go home, when Sooyoung turn right to go to her house,
“Sooyoung-ah...are you okay?,” she asked makes Sooyoung wonder what’s the meaning behind it, “I rarely see you with him lately, so I thought that something bad happen between you two..,” Sooyoung just smile to her and then said,
“Nothing bad happen between us, it’s just, he busy with competition preparation..and I don’t want bother him..so we rarely meet..and unni knows that your brother is a nerdy..he’ll only focus on lesson when exam or competition came..” and his noona only noded to Sooyoung statement.

Minhyuk POV:
I’m waiting for her, I informed her that I’ll wait for her near her house. It’s already 30 minutes I waited for her in a convenience store near her house, she still doesn’t appear..makes me worried that she won’t come...but not long after I buy something to released my worry, she come with her bag on her back, she waved her hand to me, and I smiled to her,
“Did I make you bored for waiting for me?,” she asked when she standing in front of me, “sorry, I just want to make sure that my dad allowed me to go, so I waited for his call..” I just noded to her. We headed to school, because the football team agreed to gather there and go to the destination by bus,
“You didn’t bring many clothes,” as I see that she just bring one bag.
“Ah..it’s just 2 days 1 night, right?,” she asked, then I noded, “so, I don’t need to bring a lot of clothes,” and then smile to me. She looks different now, the way she talk to me, shows that she is more comfortable around me now. We arrived at school, my friends call my name and wondering who’s walking next to me, I didn’t give them the answer and let them know by their own eyes who’s with me, they screamed loudly when know that Sooyoung is the one who’s come with me,
“So, your relationship with her is developing right now?,” my closest friend asked me, and then I look at Sooyoung who looke confused with his question,
“We get closer day by day,” and grab her hand and pull her so she’ll get closer to me.
We begin our journey to Daegu, I sit side by side with her, she just quietly sit there,
“Uri Sooyoung-ie, do you want to sing?,” one of my friend asked her, and he called her ‘uri Sooyoung’?.
“Just sing by yourself..don’t bother her,” they protested to me, they force Sooyoung to sing with them, so she join them and sing along. Her voice is really sweet, she keep singing while move her body and I keep looking at her,
“Yah..you smile like a fool,” she is our school football club’s manager, “you like her, right?,” she asked, I just replied her with a smile, “when you will say to her about your feeling?,” she is teasing me.
“I will, just wait tonight..,” I said, “If I don’t want someone stole her..I must say it faster..”.
The night, when we sit in a circle and..I’m planing to say everything here, she sit next to me looking at camp fire that place in the center of the circle, and I smile to her,
“Now, we’ll begin our main event. Tonight is the day that our captain will hand over his position to the new captain. Before that, we have a game. I have a capsule, inside this there are two balls..one is secret ball if you get this ball you can tell about your secret to us, we accept any secrets..small secret or big secret..and another ball is funny..you can tell us about funny story, you’ll pass if you make atleast five of us laugh. We will give this capsule to person next to us while singing, when the song end..who bring the capsule at that time will take one of the ball..understand?,” I know about this game..and I requested to my friend to help me..so I can confess through this game..Sooyoung look nervous and I just look at her while grining. The game start..the first person who get the capsul is football’s club manager..and the ball that she get is funny ball..so she tell us about funny thing..almost two hours we played this game, but I didn’t get a single chance to draw the ball. I make a sign to my friend who lead the game and he just noded,
“Before our captain do the ceremony, I’ll give him a chance to draw a ball from this capsule..,” I smiled to him..,”you remember what I told you, right?,” he said while give the capsule to me. He said, there is difference between the secret ball and funny ball, the difference is..the secret ball have a small scratch, so now, I try to find that..when I find that a take that ball and show it,
“Okay...secret ball,” my friend said, and I smiled.
“Secret that I want to tell is..I like a girl from the first time we meet. Now, I want to confess to her that I like her,” the crowd curious who’s that girl..she must be here, suddenly their focus move to Sooyoung who sit next to me, they are sure know who is that girl..because I’m the one who brought Sooyoung here, “I meet her for the first time in bus stop near her middle school..,” Sooyoung look at me now.., “do you want to be my lover,” I turn my head to look at her, “Sooyoung-ah,” her face red..she looks nervous..she couldn’t say anything, “you can answer it another time..I just want to say that to you..” I said, but in my heart I really hope she will answer now..
“Just date..just date..” my friends said, she look under pressure.
“It’s okay..you can answer it another day..” I left her and stand near the camp fire, “before late, let’s start the ceremony.. ” my friend look surprised when I just said that,
“why you don’t let her to answer it.”
“Just start it..her answer is just for me..so the one who will be hear her answer is me..” when I tried to explain to my friend so they won’t force Sooyoung to answer now, suddenly Sooyoung stand,
“Minhyuk sunbaenim,” the crowd focus now on her, “are you really mean it?, what you said to me..” she asked, she doubt my feeling.
“Yes..you think I played joke on you by telling you that I like you.”
“Then say it once again..your confession..I’ll answer it..” she said, suddenly she makes me nervous. I look at her..gaining courage to confess once again..
“Do you want to be my lover, Sooyoung-ah..?.”
“I like you too..” she said..,”let’s start date then..” I’m really happy when she said that..
“Kiss her..kiss her..” the crowd said.
“Just start the ceremony..after this..I’ll take care of my personal matter,” I smiled to her and she sit again, my friend give me a paper..and I read it in front of the new captain.
The camp fire still on going, it’s already late..but everyone still happilly singing while dancing, when everyone in their own world, I created world with my girlfriend,
“So, when is it start?,” I asked her, she just smile, “you said that you like me too..”
“I don’t know when that feeling start growing..” she smile to me again, “you look cool just now..so, that’s the reason why you bring me here..”
“Maybe..because I want to the other know that I want you to be mine..so I confessed here.”
“Why you don’t plan to do it on school radio, then..everyone in school will know..” she said, really this girl..when she feel comfortable with a person..she comfortablly say that kind of thing, “you won’t be able to do that, right?, because it’ll be really embarrassing.”
“You want me to do that?,” I asked.
“No, it’s not just embarrassing for you..for me too,” I grab her hand and she look at me, “why?,” she asked.
“Should we have our first kiss here?,” I asked, she look shocked but I just get closer to her and kiss her cheeck, I smiled to her, “you think I’ll kiss on your lips?,” I , “I won’t do that now,” suddenlly the crowd shouting..
“Yeahhh...” I look at them, “wahh..you are a man Minhyuk-ah.” The night end..but I can sleep because this day really the best day for me.

Sungjae enter the final round for level C..the other student who came from his school who enter final round is..Sungjae’s senior from third grade. He still to focus in his competition while Sooyoung read the news that he enter the final round from an online news,
“He even didn’t reply my messege..” she start type her messege to Sungjae to cheer on him, “He won’t read it..but still as a friend..I muct do this, right?,” they now on their way to home from camp, Minhyuk who sit next to her asked,
“What are you doing?.”
“Send a messege for Sungjae, he enter the final round..” she put her handphone back to her bag.
“When you start know him?,” he asked.
“Five years ago..or six years ago..about that..”
“You will leting him know about our relationship, right?,” she noded and smile to her boyfriend.
“I know that both of you still in happy mood, but can’t you not show that..?, that smile never left your face,” one of Minhyuk’s friend said jealousy.
“How can we not show our happiness..we must show it to everyone,” Minhyuk .
That day, a day after camp, in there are announcements school radio. The first announcement is,
“Our school representativ win a gold medal and silver medal. Gold medal of level C for Sungjae from first grade and silver medal of level A for Minwoo from third grade, congratulatin for both of you. Today, they didn’t attend school today because school headmaster give them a reward to take a rest after tiring competition.” Sooyoung smile when she heard it and send messege to her friend..
You must treat me, Sungjae-yah..
Congratulation, you have worked hard...
And then, the second announcement is..a shocking announcement,
“Two days ago, I join the football team party at a Camp in Daegu..and witnessed a precious moment of our school new couple...the boy confessed his feeling to her and she accepted his confession..congratulation to our new couple..” everyone in school try to guest..the new couple, Sooyoung can’t calm, she runs to school radio broadcast, but..”everyone must be curious who’s the new couple...congratulation for our former football’s captain, Lee Minhyuk and his girlfriend..Park Sooyoung,” Sooyoung stop in front of school radio broadcast..Minhyuk is there too, she give him a sign that they must talk. They walk to the rooftop,
“Who did this, oppa?,” she asked.
“I don’t know..I shocked too when heard the broadcast, I know that you will angry, so I ran there to stop the broadcast, but it’s already late..”. Sooyoung takes deep breath,
“It’s already happen..if I angry, it won’t change anything..everyone in school know that we are dating..so let it be, ” she smile to him, “let’s go..”
“Let’s go to the canteen...I treated my friends there,” he grabed her hand.
“Even everyone know about our relationship..I hope we not doing this in front of them,” and pull his hand from her, “Let’s go..” Minhyuk smile to her.

Sooyoung pay visit to Sungjae’s house, after long time she couldn’t meet him, and she brings a gift for him..
“He still sleep, he just wake up to have a lunch..then sleep again..I guessed he didn’t get enough sleep when he was in Jeju island,” his mother said to Sooyoung when she look for Sungjae.
“Ahh..can mom give it to him?,” she give his mother a gift for Sungjae, “thank you,” she said while bowing.
“What is this?,” she asked.
“Just for his winning celebration..because I couldn’t celebrate it with him today because he’s too tired..so I give him this gift, thank you mom,” she smiled to his mother.
“Come here tomorrow at dinner time, we’ll throw party for him, so you must join...”
“Okay, I’ll come then..”
The next day, Sooyoung waiting for his friend in bus stop, but he didn’t come,
“Didn’t he always arrive at this time?,” she look at the watch, “I guess he already leave..he won’t absent from school..because he’s nerdy.” And then ride the bus that just come.
In school, the atmospher is really cold..because of the announcement yesterday, everyone eyes look at her..not just look, but scaning her..
“The thing that I hate the most in this school..ahh, seriously..” she said while open her locker.
“So, the news about you dating Minhyuk oppa is right..” girl voice, Yerin, “you really awesome..close with Sungjae.. and then, now..you dating former school football captain..” Sooyoung look at Yerin closely, there is something weird,
“Your style is a bit different today, sunbaenim,” she commented Yerin’s style, ussually her style is really feminime, but now.., “it’s a little bit strange look at you like that.” When she about to leave her,
“Hobaenim, I asked you just now.”
“Ah..yes, I start dating Minhyuk sunbaenim. And, thank you for saying that I’m awesome.” And leave her, Yerin look angry to her, “Why I feel familiar with that style,” and looking at herself, “it’s a little bit..ah..”
“She follow your style..a little bit tomboy,” someone said to her, she is Yerin’s friend, the one who always with Yerin, “she thought that because of that style you recieved this attention.”
“What?, it’s because of that?,” Sooyoung is confused.
“She hate it when the attention not on her. She is the smart student, then her face is really pretty, but school attention now is on you, the girl who not really smart and pretty, so she feel that she must grab that attention again..” Sooyoung feel she is insulting her indirectly.
“I’m little hurt with those words, and grab attention?, that way?. She really crazy about that,” she said in low voice, “I’ll leave first, sunbaenim.” Some students hear what she said about Yerin.
“Yah..Sungjae-yah, why you didn’t react with that shocking news about your friend?,” Sungjae classmate asked him.
“Shocking news?, Sooyoung?. What kind of news?,” he asked, because he didn’t know anything about that.
“You still don’t know about it, no wonder. Your friend and former football captain, start dating.” Sungjae look shocked when he heard that, he close his book and run to her class. In her class is so hectic, he can’t find Sooyoung,
“Where is Sooyoung?,” he asked to one of her classmate who just come out from class.
“Your friend really like to became center of attention, right?. She said that Yerin sunbae crazy about people attention because she change her style..” she pointed out where is Sooyoung, she is in crowd.
“What is she doing..she didn’t even tell me about she dating that guy..now she make another headline..” when he about to leave her class, someone call him,
“I want to talk to you...” said Minhyuk, “follow me,” he want Sungjae to go far away from class and student attention.
“You know about it, right?. I’m dating your friend right now..”
“You think I’ll give up if you dating her?.”
“I just want to say that it’s just the start, there will be many thing that I want to show you..” he warn Sungjae, “I hope from now on, you’ll keep that friendzone, don’t dare to cross it.”
“As you said, it’s just start..for now, I won’t cross it, but I don’t know what will happen in the future..you think how long it’ll be last?, your relationship and my friendship?. You can broke up with her, and I can date her..that’s possible, right?,” he warned him back, “I’ll leave now..”.
After school Sungjae meet Sooyoung at buss stop, he sit next to he,
“You didnd’t let me know about it..why?,” he asked so sudden.
“Let you know about what..?,” she asked.
“It’s not like this is you first time having a boyfriend, why make big fuss in school?.”
“Big fuss?, what are you saying?.”
“I heard that you make an announcement at school radio.”
“Haa..you didn’t even come to school that day..how come you know about that announcement,” Sooyoung face Sungjae, “you don’t know what happen that day, don’t make a conclusion like that, I’m not the one who announced that news,” the bus come, Sooyoung stand and ride the bus, Sungjae follow her from behind.
“You didn’t let me know about it, Sooyoung-ah.”
“I let you know about Minhyuk sunbaenim invited me at Football’s club camp..but you didn’t replied it. When you even didn’t reply my first message..should I sent another message about me dating him?. I sent you another message, but the result is the same..what’s wrong with you?. I’m really scared of you when you focused at something, you start forget anything around you..” Sooyoung look angry, Sungjae took his handphone and look at Sooyoung message,
“I read your message, but forget to replied it. Sorry..” he said that cutely.
“Always like that..” she look at key chain that hanging on his bag, “that key chain look good in your bag..who give that for you?,” she asked pretended didn’t know anything about that.
“A girl who already had a boyfriend give me this, I don’t know with what kind of purpose she gave me this?,” Sooyoung ignored his words. She bought a ‘6’ key chain for him, he sure really crazy about ‘6’.
“She just want to congratulate her friend who won the competition..although her friend really ignored her when he prepare for that competition,” she holds grudge.
“Give me your phone..” he said, but she didn’t response it. He take her phone from her force fully, “this is my present,” he said while hanging key chain, “I bought it in Jeju..” he give her phone back..
“Wah..it’s pretty..,” she said.
“It’s pretty, right?. After competition we walked around, and then I find a street vendor that sell this kind of cute things..so I bought this, it’s really look like you..”
“But..I’m still angry with you...it’s not over because of this small key chain..” she said that and look away.
“You sure not an easy girl,” it’s quiet for seconds, “are you sure about it?,” he asked an ambigue question, Sooyoung look confused, “about dating Minhyuk sunbaenim...”. Sooyoung doesn’t give him her answer right away, she blankly look straight, “why?, you look hesitant to answer my question..”
“If I look hesitant, is it like I’m not sure with my decision?. I’m happy, for sure. What kind of girl who wouldn’t happy if a boy confessed to her..and the one who confessed to me is Minhyuk sunbaenim, the boy that I meet in bus..I told you before, right?,” Sungjae didn’t give her his answer , “you are happy with your live, so I must be happy too, right?.”
“Do you think I’m happy right now?,” he asked.
“Why?, you are not happy right now?. Yah..you won the match..you got new friend, and you still have me next to you..you are not happy with all of those things?,” she asked.
“If all of those things really make me happy, why I feel so down right now?, I feel betrayed.” His statement make Sooyoung curious..what does he mean?, “when you look at my face right now, do I look happy?,” he asked again.
“Is there something that upset you lately?, tell me..”
“You look happy right now, I won’t ruin your good mood..” he take deep sigh, “even if I tell you, you won’t be able to help me..” although she still curious, she just stop the conversation by saying,
“Thank you for this, it’s really beautifull,” and put on her headphone, Sungjae do the same, they are not sharing headphone..they just use their own headphone.
I’m still thinking..how should I start this..Sungjae said softly while looking at Sooyoung.
