Jong In’s POV

“Jong In ah, can you pick up the kids when you come back? I don’t think I can make it today, I am full of work” Ha Neul asked me, I smiled at her and then nodded my head.

“Don’t worry. I might as well take them at work with me” I smiled and then patted Ha Na’s head

“Appa, you are going to bring us to your company?” Jong Soo asked me with his happy eyes. I nodded my head, it seems Jong Soo really likes what I do.  

“When your school finishes I’ll sent Lay hyung to pick you up and then you are going to spend the day at my office. Do you like the idea?” all of them nodded their heads but Jong Soo was the most excited about it. I can’t help but think of him as the next CEO of this company. I smiled to myself and then got up from the chair, Ha Neul was going to take the kids to school and I was going straight to work. 

“Jong In…” Ha Neul came inside the room and approached me. She brought her hands to my tie and then fixed it while staring at me with sad eyes.

“What is wrong?” I asked her not knowing what was wrong with her.

“It’s been a week since you fought with your mother… and she has been calling you nonstop. Don’t you think it’s better to-” before she could finish her sentence I leaned forward and kissed her, hushing her from talking about my mother.

“Let’s go and eat outside tonight… you and I” I cupped her cheeks in my hands and kissed her forehead.

“Don’t avoid your mother Jong In…” she stared straight at me, I gulped and then sighed

“The fact that I did nothing to destroy something she loves is enough… she doesn’t even care about me… so why should I speak to her?”

“Because no matter what she did, she is still your mother and you can’t deny this fact” she is right… but the woman I call my mother… didn’t consider my happiness, I should have realized that she never liked Ha Neul.

“Ha Neul, please don’t make me do anything I don’t want… I know she is my mother but what she did… hurt me, her son”  she sighed and nodded her head

“Fine… I am going now, take care…” she turned around and left the house with the kids.  Minutes after I left too, I went to my car heading to my work.

“Good morning Jong In” Lay hyung smiled to me once I entered the building. “Just now I was going to leave this in your office”  he handed me a folder and I took it.

“Hyung, can you do me a favor?” I asked Lay before he left me

“Tell me”

“Can you pick up the kids from school? Just bring them here, I promised that I would take them to the office” I smiled and so did he.

“Ok, I am going to do this favor to you. Ow before I forget, your mother called your office bus since you were not here I told her to call later”  the smile I had on my face disappeared… I didn’t tell the guys what happened with my mother… I am, but I don’t think this is the right time

“Sure… thanks for informing me hyung” I waved my hand and then went back to my office. I sat down and started doing my paperwork. My phone suddenly rang and I picked it up without looking at the caller’s id.

“Jong In ah…” when I heard the voice I got angry and didn’t reply “Jong In ah, please answer… don’t avoid me like this” I coughed and then replied

“Excuse me… is there anything you want from me Mrs. Kim?”My mother sighed

“Jong In… we need to talk…” 

“I am sorry but I am busy person… I can’t waste my time” I shut the phone and then put it inside my pocket. She keeps calling me… I don’t want to talk with her though…  I just need to focus on my work…  Hours passed and I was still working, when I stared at the time I called Lay hyung and told him to pick my kids. Until they arrive I’ll just keep working.  Some minutes later the door of my office knocked and inside came Jong Soo, Jong Ha and Ha Na, they run to me and hugged me at same time

“I brought out little babies. Now I am going to let you enjoy your time” Lay waved and closed the door

“So~ how was school today?” I asked them

“Appa remember the teacher made us write an exam?” I nodded my head at Ha Na

“I got 9 out of 10”  she smiled happily and so did I

“What about the two of you?” I turned my attention to Jong Soo and Jong Ha

“Appa I got 9 out of 10 too, hyung in the other hand got 10 out of 10” I patted their heads

“I am so glad for you guys”

“Appa, can you take us around? I like this place a lot” Jong Soo asked me with an extra happy smile.

“Later, let me finish this letters and then we are going to wander around.” They nodded their heads and then sat at the floor playing games with each other, even though they were a bit noisy I didn’t care, instead it made me feel calmer. Some minutes later I finished my paperwork and then joined the kids. We were playing rock paper scissor and the door opened abruptly and Suho came inside

“Um… Jong In, what are you doing with your kids down there?” he pointed at me and the kids I smiled up at him with my goofy smile

“Well, we were playing. Why?” I got up and approached him he seems distressed

“Let’s talk outside for a while” I nodded my head and then left the kids inside my office while I went to Suho’s office. He closed the door and glared at me

“What is this Kim Jong In?” he threw me an envelope. I took it in my hands and read it ‘Resignation letter’ I scratched the back of my head.

“How did you know about this?” Suho sighed

“Your mother came here and gave it to me… she even begged me and told me to persuade you and stay a
