That Thing Called LOVE

It was getting darker and the wind blows all the old crunchy leaves away and the rain starts to pour above us . It was silence and i still couldn't really process of how did it happen. All i know is that it happens too fast that i couldn't really think twice. Not that i hate him being here next to me , walking me home and let me stay under his umbrella for shelter but meeting him was so unexpected and i was .. surprised . 

Never in my life i've met a guy who willings to walk me home or even taking care of me even though we're just some strangers that we happened to bump onto each other. I'm not finding this weird but it was so sudden and i could not think whether he's been around here watching me or it's just purely coincidence. 

I look up to him , to see good looking side profile and how sharp his jaw is and it makes me think that he's not a bad guy. I don't think he is but i shouldn't trust anyone that easily didn't i? "was there something on my face?" he asked out of sudden making me jolt and look back down to my feet . I hear him chuckle softly next to me as we walk up the hill very slowly "can i trust you?" i asked and i don't know why but i stopped and made him look back at me with a little furrow 

"because i shouldn't be trusting anybody and i don't know you" i said and there's that soft half smile of his appearing on his face before he let out a chuckle as he look back at me "you know my name , doesn't that means you already know me?" he chuckles leaving me frown a little bit. Slowly the rain starts to pour down on me and it gets heavier . I gasp when he gently pull me back under his umbrella and let me froze in my place in short seconds , realising how close we are .

"forgive me if you don't feel comfortable" he said as he let go of my wrist and i look up to him "i just wanted to help and besides , it's raining and you don't have any umbrella with you" he said and i knew it right then that he got his point. "i could um .." he stops when he look around us and back at me "i can buy you an umbrella if yo-" "-no no , it's fine. i just .. i'm sorry" i apologised at my sudden weird behaviour and i saw him smiling a little before nodding his head

"come on, it'll get even heavier if we just stay here" he said before turning around and walk up the hill with me next to him. I admit it myself that he's a good looking man and i've never meet anyone who looks as good as him before , definitely not from Landcastle and it makes totally sense now when he said he's not even from Landcastle. 

I look at him and realise how good he looks in a simple shirt and trousers. He still have a white shirt like the one he wore last week except that it's a little bit different and i just like how he casually slip his right hand into his pocket and how his black shiny hair slick to the back , showing his perfect forehead.

We got to my place and he stops by the door , still holding onto his umbrella and let me unlock the door and get in . "thank you .. Taemin" i said and smile a little at him . "you remember my name .. you're most welcome , Jinri" he smile back and gently bow his head a little at me making me furrow at how his little gesture made my heart jumped. I've never seen anybody did that to me before and this is my very first time and i find it .. amusing. 

"um Taemin" i stop him when he was about to walk away and made him look back at me in full anticipation "hows a cup of hot tea sounds like?" i said with a smile as i waited for him "amazing, but i ca-" -"i insist" and i mean it. He helped me and i couldn't just let him go in this weather. It's raining heavily and the wind went crazy. He stops for a while before a small half smile appear on his face making me smile and let him in to my studio. 

"it's very kind of you Jinri" he said when he gets in and close the door behind . I chuckles as i look back at him when i put my bag down on the chair "it's fine and besides, you helped me. I guess it's time for me to pay you what you've done for me" i said as i rested my both hands on my waist , looking straight at him and he chuckle softly before his eyes met mine "by a cup of tea?" he chuckles with his husky voice. "or maybe two?" His smile got wider when he knew that i joked back at him and i couldn't help but to smile at him before i turn around 

"my living room is upstairs , so um .. we have to get up there" i pointed out to the upper level with my finger and catch that soft laugh he let out before he nods his head a little "would it be okay?" he asked "oh it's fine, i always have guests coming over so you're not the first one afterall" I laugh and walk up the stairs before he follows me from behind

He sat on the couch as i walk straight towards my small kitchen and starts making tea for both of us. I lied about having guests coming over and stay here in my living room . The only guests i have was Soojung , Jongin and Mom . It was indeed my first time having someone in my living room. I couldn't let him sit at my studio when i have to take both hot cup of tea down the stairs and it's easier to just stay here and have a little cup of tea. 

"is the studio closed today?" he asked from my small living room and i hope he doesn't feel uncomfortable "yeah. but people can still come if they have some kind of important things for me" i said whilst i walk back to the table and hand him his tea . I noticed how gentle he was and how polite he gets at some point which is so foreign to me because most of the guys i've met was rude and never have any respects on girls , or in this case , me. 

"i'm sorry if you're kind of unco-" "-oh no it's fine. this is lovely actually" he thanked me for the tea and take a small sip of it. "i'm sorry for asking , what do you do for living?" i asked and made him look up to me before putting his cup down on the coffee table. "i'm an artist" i was kind of surprised and i did not expect that coming from him 

"so you own an art studio i suppose?" he chuckles at me and slowly nodding his head "i do actually. and i spend my time everyday and night in my studio. just like you" 

Not that he's just a great looking guy , he's an artist and he play the piano.
