That Thing Called LOVE

woke up when the sunlight creeps in and i let out a soft groan before taking my phone near to my face, with my semi-closed eyes, i turn on the phone and gasped to know that it is currently 11 in the morning and i'm almost late for going out with Soojung. I promised her to meet at the place where her wedding dress is at 12 and it's almost 1130. I have to rush for a quick shower and drive to the other side of the city to get to the place

Hoping for a smooth ride without any terrible traffic along the way so that i can get there in time. I don't want to disappoint Soojung. 

I got into shower and i managed to have a very quick shower and put on my simple clothes simply because i can't think much on what to wear and i know it's not really suit the theme today since i'm helping her to pick out a dress and i should've wear something feminine because i know Soojung will not satisfied when she saw me like this

maybe i should change ....

yeah maybe i should. 

i saw my top and decided to give it a go and honestly , i think this is much better than before. I have my hair let down and its a bit wavy which thankfully it happened naturally. 

I grab my bag and my car keys and rushed out from my place to my car and drive straight out of town to where she'd told me. It's somewhere outside of this city and to get there will take at least 20 minutes without horrendous traffic which i really hope it won't happen. Soojung did texted me just now saying that she'll be there in 30 minutes 

And i'm hoping so much that i can get there on time or maybe a bit late but not more than 30 minutes because i don't want to ruin my best friend's mood just because i arrived late and just because i woke up very late today. I slept late last night just because he decided to call me late at night and we actually had a very long talk and a very deep one 

but i am genuinely happy that he is there for me even though it's so late at night and he told me he wouldn't mind if i want to talk about something that i feel like i need someone to talk with. So he did listened to me well and i'm happy about it, i feel very lucky to have someone that's so understandable and always there for me. 

I was hesitated to call Soojung and Jongin last night because it was very late and i didn't even think of calling him because i was afraid that i might disturbed him but he decided to call me which he did promised before. I am hoping to see him at Soojung and Jongin's wedding because it'd be much better if he's there with me. 

I got to the place just 5 minutes late but i'm sure it'll be alright and i saw Soojung's car parked few spots after mine so i assumed she's here already. I rushed out from my car, locked it and run towards the place. thankfully i didn't bump into everyone else that's walking down the sidewalk before i got into the weddding dress shop. 

A staff pulled the door open for me and i just huffed real loud as i got in 

"did you just run to get here?" I look up to see Soojung at the couch with a cup of tea next to her and she just chuckled before me. "sorry i'm late" i said as i walk towards the couch but she just laugh a little and shake her head no to me "you're just 5 minutes late, not like you didn't show up" i heave out a loud relief sigh because i don't want to upset her and thank god she didn't. 

"shall we start now?" i look back to a lady in a black suit and a smile on her face as she looked at me and Soojung. "yes please" says Soojung before walking after the lady towards a room which i assume will be full of dresses. 

It reminds me a lot of that time i came with Taemin to the shop he took me and how similar it felt as i walked into the room and i feel a slight burn on my cheeks when i remember the time i wore few dresses and showed it to him and just simple how gorgeous his eyes looks as he look at me in those dresses. 

"what kind of dresses that you're looking for?" i asked Soojung as i sit on the sofa before the platform where Soojung is and the lady just left the room to get all the dresses that i assumed Soojung had picked up days ago. "a white ... strapless one maybe?" she answered me and look back at me with a little cheeky smile on her face. 

"it's you who want that or it's Jongin's request?" i asked, unknowingly smirked at her. 

"of course it's mine. not.. Jongin" somehow i can see her blushed which made me laughs. "so you want it simple?" she furrow a little before hum and nod her head "yeah but then again, i don't want it to be too simple. Oh and i want some lace if possible" she said and i just nod. "does it have to be strapless?" i asked and chuckled a little 

"well, if there's a beautiful one then why not? if there's none, i don't mind having some sleeves, as long as it's beautiful" "okay got it" 

The lady walk back in and another lady came with a tray of few biscuits and two fancy looking cups and a teapot. "tea for you two ladies" says the lady and i just smile before murmured thank you to her. "so there will be 18 dresses in our rotating wardrobe here" says the lady as she pointed at the long kind of like a secret rail which i assume all the dresses will come out since it's called a rotating wardrobe. an automatic ones. 

But my eyes went wide open when i heard the number of dresses she picked. Soojung looked back at me with her excited face but i am still surprised "18?" i mouthed to her but she just chuckled "it'll be fine" she said "it'll be a very long day" i said and she just laugh. I mean it but i don't really mind sitting here all day, it feels amazing though. 

"okay so... shall we start?" she literally squeak the last part making me chuckled at her cuteness. she's super excited for it and i am too.

"do you have your dress yet?" asked Soojung as she's trying her 10th dress now and so far we haven't pick one yet. there are few that we like but not quite sure if it's the right now. "i um ... i think i do" i said and i heard a loud scoffed from her. "don't tell me you haven't find one?" i don't know whether i should find one or just use my other dresses that i owned. 

"but it'd be totally fine if i use my old ones right?" i asked and there's no answer from her. "are you serious?" her head comes out from the curtain and furrowed at me before she walk out from the curtain in a long white dress. "i mean, i have a few that i think you haven't seen me wearing it yet" i said as i observed the dress that she's wearing

I do like the beads on it and some of the lace but i just don't like how it flows. i frown a little making her frown as well "no?" she asked "maybe not" i said making her pout and walk back to change. "okay but does the dress goes well with my theme?" she asked, back to our conversation about my dress. "obviously, it's not like i'm going to wear something that's totally off from your wedding. like i came wearing a black dress where you wedding is a garden themed wedding" there's chuckles i heard from her making me smile a little

"okay then.. i trusted you" 

"good because you should" i laugh. 

We literally just talked and talked and kept rejecting the dresses until there's only 3 left and i honestly couldn't made up my mind if the remaining dresses aren't as what she wanted and not as perfect as we all want it to be. Soojung came out in a very simple looking dress but the way it flows just made me smile because i really loved it 

"do you like it? because i think i kind of like it" she said as she look at herself on the mirror. "this is the one. it's simple but it's beautiful. you look beautiful in it Soojung" i said because she really does look like a princess. a very beautiful one. The lady nods with a smile on her face "this looks best on you. it'll look even more beautiful when you have a diamond necklace" says the lady

"yeah i was about to say that" i said, totally agreed with the lady. 

"should i get this one?" she asked and i nod "definitely the one" 

We got out from the shop and Soojung look so happy today and i'm sure she's satisfied with the dress we picked. "i should probably head back now. it's getting late" i said though it's just turned 8. "wait, don't you want to grab dinner together?" she asked and as much as i
