That Thing Called LOVE

The journey from Erindell to Landcastle really took him 9 hours to get there by car and as much as he wanted to take the public transportation like used to, he knows that he can't and his mother would know about it in split seconds. He knew he had done something wrong back then, he knows that his parents might get disappointed in him and to find out that he ran away from the dinner and never come back without feeling guilty at all. He knows that he'd changed since day one his mother trying to pair him up with Ella again

He is still not there yet and it's getting so late that he thought of spending a night at a hotel near where she lives. He stops by the hotel and took a hoodie from the back seat before putting it on and covered his face with the hood, trying not to show himself in public. It is hard for him sometimes, to go out to the normal places that he always go to because everyone will have their eyes on him

It's fine for him being a prince but he sometimes find it uncomfortable as he wanted some space for himself. 

He walked out from his car, trying his best not to look so obvious as he walked in towards the reception counter. "can i get a room for tonight?" he asked and the receptionist's trying to check on the availability of the rooms "do you want a single room sir?" the receptionist asked and he just nod. 

After quite a long checked in though the receptionist almost caught him when he filled up the information paper, everything went well. he finally got his hotel key and goes up the elevator to the 2nd floor and got to his room. It's almost 4 in the morning and he needed some sleep after that long drive from Erindell. 

He kept getting text messages from Ella but didn't reply to none of them nor read it. 

He lay down on the bed, taking up his phone and read the article once again, scroll down the page before he stops at the picture that's on the article. He stares at the picture for long before he heave out a sigh. As much as he wanted the time to go faster so that he can go to her place tomorrow morning, he knows that it won't happen. 

And he wouldn't even know if she'll be around like the last few times he came but there's no one home which left him disappointed. 

Taemin is already up from his slumber, sitting on the bed in a deep thought as the light creep in his dark room. His phone didn't stop ringing since last night as he received loads of calls from Ella but he didn't answer any of them, instead he replied to one of the guards asking regarding to the queen's questions. He did told him that he is out of town but he didn't tell them where he is exactly

But he do tell the person that he will come back later today 

He knows he had to. 

He got up from the bed, standing before the window as he look out to the view outside. Indeed Landcastle is no where near Erindell but there is something about this place makes him love it even more, especially the steep hill with shops along the way as it goes up and lovely people selling things outside of their shops to find money for living and despite their hardwork, they still have that beautiful smile on their faces. 

The hill itself reminds him a lot of San Francisco but this is a lot more lovely and beautiful. 

The sky is looking gloomy and grey but that wouldn't change a thing, it might rain sooner or later as the wind starts to grow stronger and everyone by the street are struggling with the wind. He looked back to the table where the clock is and see the time now is 30 passed 1 in the evening and he knows that he should head there now 

He took his belongings with him and walk out from the room to checking out from the hotel. There's a lot of people in the lobby makes him hide his face even more under the hood. He head straight to the reception counter and it took him just few minutes for checking out and finally he's out from the hotel lobby.

The wind is indeed strong and it's quite chilly today making him hug himself, leaving his car there as he decided to talk a walk up the hill to get to her place which only few blocks away. Everyone's trying to get back to their place or trying to find a shelter as the sky is getting more darker and the wind is getting stronger but he wouldn't care much about it. 

He can see her place from where he is right now and somehow feeling his heart beating fast 

He stops just few lots from her place and stare at it for a moment before someone tapping his shoulder making him look back "do you want to buy some of these?" the sweet old lady asked him before he looked down to where the fresh flowers are. He remember that he once bought her tulips which is her favourites but sadly there's only a few of tulips whilst there's a load of roses. 

"do you have any more tulips?" he asked and the lady seems to not knowing him which he thought was a great thing, he took off his hood and smile before him. "i only have a few of tulips, but i can match it with roses?" she smiled beautiful before him making him smile "that would do" he smiled back and the old lady nod with a bright smile on her face as she took the flowers from the bucket and bring them in to her small shop to turn it into a beautiful bouquet.

"are you from here dear?" she asked and he was hesitated to answer that and he don't want to lie, so he shake his head no "no wonder i've never seen you before" she said making him smile softly as he look at her tying the flowers together "are these for you girl?" she asked "yes" he answered though he really didn't thought of buying her flowers when he first gotten here but giving her flowers wouldn't hurt right? "that's so sweet of you" she said and smile 

Taking the last bits which is the ribbon and she tied it beautifully for him and he was amazed at how beautiful she did and how beautiful the flowers look even though its a combination of two different flowers. "here you go" she smiled as she handing him the bouquet "thank you so much" he took it and took out $50 bill when the price for the flower was just $10. 

"just keep it. thank you for the lovely flowers" he said and smile back to her before stepping out from her small shop. The lady was surprised but feeling greatful to found someone like him. He walked up the hill as fast as he can, trying not to get wet since it's starting to rain a little bit. He stands before her door and breathed in and out heavily 

Hesitating to knock on the door 

but he did

Taemin then turn the knob and slowly pushed the door open causing the door bell rings. He peaked in before taking a step in and closed the door behind him, standing right before the door and was surprised to see some changes in her place but her violin is still there and the piano is still there. His heart stopped beating for a while when he heard her voice coming from upstairs and it sounded like she's so busy up there.

He was
