That Thing Called LOVE

It's almost a month since the last time he saw her and his own daughter and he is in need to see them so badly. He couldn't get away from the palace for few weeks because of the royal events happening later next month and the queen insist to have the prince there whilst they're all having discussion. Ella is there always, she's always there and he was annoyed at how clingy she was towards him and how hard she tried to impress his mother just to be with him back

But it didn't work for him

Taemin stood straight before the King's study room and give it a soft knock on his door before he heard his father's voice from inside "come in" . He haven't talk to his father personally since for months and today, he just thought of staying at his father's study room and try to talk to him about whatever he wanted to talk.

He knows his father well 

He knows that the king doesn't truly approves of what she's trying to do with Ella. "are you .. busy?" he asked as he peeked in to see his father, looking casual as ever though they are indeed in the palace. He's at his study table with his ink pen in his hand and a piece of paper on the table. He looked up to see his son peeking in, he put down the pen and took off his reading glasses 

"i'm not. come in son" he said and Taemin get in, closing the door behind and walked in. He still remember he used to spent his time in his father's study room and find the story books that he always love in between those adults books and just stay there the whole day. "is there anything you need son?" the father asked making the younger ones to looked back at him. 

"i just ... wanted to see you" he said and take a seat before the king. Everytime he spend his time with his family, he always thought that they're just like the normal people out there and never ever thought that they are from a royal family just because his father looks casual as ever. "that's new" the older ones murmured before he sit back, resting his back on the soft back rest and look straight to his son 

"let me guess, you're running away from your mother" he said making Taemin chuckled softly. The king smiled

"i know you too well my son" he said and save the soft chuckled coming from him. Taemin got up from his seat and walk around the book shelves, trying to find his favourite books which he believes that it's still there somewhere because his parents know that he loves it too much to even give it away to other people. "how does it feel .. to have something planned for you.. yet you don't even know about it?" he murmured that one out without looking back to his father

The king have his glasses on again as he writes down something on the paper but placed the pen down once again when he heard his son's voice talking to him. "i believe you do have something to tell me?" his father asked making him looked back at him. 

In fact he does want to tell his father about Jinri, he really does wanted to talk to him and tell him that he loves her more than anything and how much he needs her just because she makes him happy, she makes him be himself and he wanted to tell his father that he have a child whom he loves so much even though he just met her once. 

"what is it?"

"how's Zoe doing?" asked Jinri as she have her eyes locked to her daughter who's having fun learning ballet with Zoe, Soojung's daughter. "she's doing good. last night she did throw up a little bit but Jongin was there sleeping with her which did helps because she kept asking where was her father" said Soojung, having her eyes on the two cute girls in their ballerina dress and learn the dance routine. "Jongin is great to his daughter" murmured Jinri knowing how great her friend was to his daughter 

She never imagined Jongin as a father before but after Soojung gave birth to Zoe, he changed completely into a better loving man. He spends most of his time with Zoe than Soojung which did make the wife jealous and Jinri find it cute. She smiled brightly when her daughter looked back to find her and she waved cutely at Jinri, Zoe does the same makes Soojung waved back with a smile on her face. 

"i'm sorry for Lea.." murmured Soojung before she turned to look at Jinri who's trying hard to avoid the question. Soojung knows about everything since the day the news was out to the world and the day she got pregnant just a week after they broke up. She was so proud of Jinri because she was so strong, going through the pregnancy and being a single mother to Lea. 

There was few nights full of tears for Jinri that Soojung did know about because Jinri told her. There was a time Lea kept asking about her father which did make Jinri lost in words. She couldn't find the better answer for her daughter and she told her that her father is busy with his work that he had to go out of the country for a while. 

And Jinri didn't tell Soojung about that day when he turned up at her house. 

She still thinking of whether telling her or not. 

"no it's nothing.." murmured Jinri back at Soojung. She looked down to her cold hands, feeling hesitated to tell Soojung about Taemin. "actually.." she started and Soojung turned her gaze from the kids back to Jinri who kept her eyes at the kids who's having fun together. "he came last month" she said. Soojung was surprised to hear that to be honest. She didn't expect him to come back despite his status. He's a prince of Erindell.
