Luhan’s cheeks are starting to hurt not only because of the biting winter wind but also of the biggest grin that has been plastered on his face for days already. The memory of the last time that he has met up with Sehun is etched on his mind, making him blush everytime he remembers. He has finally told the younger about his feelings and Sehun has miraculously answered back with a ‘me, too’. Luhan was floating in cloud nine since then.

          He has never been sure that Sehun returns his feelings because even though they’ve spent much more time together, Sehun still has some reservations and Luhan can easily see them. Everytime that they hold hands, Sehun will take a little more time to fully hold his hand. Everytime that they hug, a moment of hesitation comes before Sehun will pull him until they’re skin to skin. Everytime they kiss, it’s as if that he wants to pull back at some point until Luhan holds him tighter.

          Jongin has said that this is the first time that Sehun has liked anybody besides him so Luhan takes it that the younger is being awfully shy. He chuckled at the thought. It’s funny that somebody as good looking as Sehun have stayed single all throughout high school but he doesn’t mind at all. He made it his life’s mission to help Sehun along the way because he is the hyung and he intends to keep Sehun all to himself.

          Clutching his jacket closer, he made his way to Sehun’s doorstep. He wanted to surprise him this Christmas day and give him his present. He couldn’t wait until the resume of classes and he couldn’t be more thankful that Sehun has brought him here already. A blush crept on his face once more as that day came to him. Before he could melt because of how hot he’s feeling, he rang the doorbell twice. After about a minute, there was still no answer.

          Luhan peeked on the nearest window but the curtain is drawn so there is no luck there. He’s pretty sure that if Sehun is asleep, his mother could open the door or him. Are they both asleep? He tried again but he got the same response, or lack of it. Because the cold is getting to him, he decided to ring Sehun already. His mouth dropped open when the operator told him that the number that he was calling is not being used and he should try dialing again. He has never heard that before when he’s calling Sehun. A feeling of dread started to creep to his toes. He tried again to make sure that he indeed called the right number but he was getting the same stupid voice of the operator.
