Chapter 20
Not So Different
"Nope...nope...No,not again!" I was sprawled across the living room floor with a piece of paper and pen with me.
For the past 3 hours in school, I had looked around almost everywhere in the cafeteria to finally find a security camera. My hope was high initially, but everything just went down a drain when the footage provided by the office, after countless of pleading, did not managed to capture anything at all. It was as if the incident was done purposely in a blind spot.
Currently, I am racking my head to find the solution to this seemingly impossible case. I tried as hard as I could to find any loopholes, but to no avail. Cameras, witnesses, victim, it was as if they all went missing in the matter of days. Even regular cafeteria-goers had no clue of anything, except the fact that they saw Jungkook beating the crap out of Choi Yong Hee. To that, I could only clench my fist in pure frustration.
"Choi Yong Hee, you sneaky bastard!" I cursed under my breath, feeling even more livid.
I continued concentrating on what I was doing, and the moment when I thought of a possible solution, a knock on the front door disrupted all my thought process.
Upset was an understatement, I actually might have an idea that could work.
I stormed to the door, without a care in the world and slammed the door open.
However, the moment I saw who was the visitor, all my anger just vanished. It was as if it did not exist in the first place.
"Hi.." I greeted, mustering up a smile.
The visitor tilt his head to the side, as if wondering why I was infuriated earlier. But he immediately shrug it off by placing a stalk of flower near my feet before beaming a wolfish grin at me.
