Not So Different
"You can't do this to me, I am your daughter!"
"But Yur-"
"You should had seek my consent before making such a huge decision on your own!" Damn, it has been so long since I spoke so much.
"B-but Yura, it is for your b-benefit as well."
A stray tear flowed down my mother's cheek which took me beyond surprised. I had never seen my mother cried, not even when my grandfather died. I felt myself letting out a sigh before looking at her in the eye.
"Fine, I will think about it"
"R-really?"
"Let me study in Seoul High."
"Deal."
While walking down the streets of seoul, to my newly moved in house, I recalled the conversation I had with my mother a few weeks before I moved.
Heaving a sigh, I continued my trip down the pathway linking to my house, with my daily necessities and grocery in hand.
I really felt like groaning and whinning all these to someone right then. Why is there so much drama in my life?
The day was chilly, I hug my coat closer to me while speeding up my pace. When my small cottage went in sight, I felt relief but the feeling went as fast as it came, and in its place, it was replaced with shock.
