     The crowd then cheered and applauded the striking presence of the main guests as they are approaching to the center of the stage.

Everyone knew that Krystal is innately good with the piano and Jessica has an outstanding angelic vocals, and so they wanted to 

showcase these abilities to the whole world once again. At least they wanted everyone to believe in that sole intention. However, 

the main point of this performance is just for Jessica. This performance is for her to express her feelings to the people that caused

 her misery. She wanted to relay the message to the eight girls using the painfully accurate lyrics that their chosen songs are made up of.

       As the cheerful noises gradually died down, Krystal moved to the piano and settled calmly while Jessica was left standing at the

 center with her microphone positioned in front of her chest. 

       When Krystal started to soulfully  the keys of the piano, Jessica prepared herself and then instinctively positioned the 

microphone in front of her mouth right when her cue to start was given.

Oh, how about a round of applause?

Yeah, standing ovation? Ooh, oh yeah

     The memories of her first encounter with Taeyeon flashed before her eyes.

That moment when she grabbed her for a confrontation in that awkwardly spacious and chilly dressing room.

 And right on that moment, the lyrics of the song just flowed freely right out of her mouth.

She reminisce bitterly at the image of Tayeon crying in front of her as she was expressing her long hidden feelings for her.

Jessica’s eyes are now welling up. Hurt surged in her veins when she recalled that painful moment of Taeyeon’s selfishness.

Jessica smirked at Taeyeon’s confession of love to her. Selfish love confession, she corrected herself.

And here it goes. With all her emotions crumpled for Taeyeon, she nailed the bridge of the song to perfection.

And as a tear is about to fall down, she bowed her head. 

The appreciative yet mellow applause from the audience came through, successfully warming and comforting the

 hearts of both girls. 

And as promised, they will perform two songs. And the next song is for all of them. The song is not just for Taeyeon,

but also for the rest of the girls.  For each and every one of them. No matter how painful it is, she had to deliver her message for them. 

Her goodbye.

The heartwarming applause of the audience gradually died down when Krystal once again masterfully played with the piano keys.

 And on cue, Jessica started, with tears clouding her eyes.

And a tear fell. Jessica didn’t bother to wipe it off since she knew exactly that more of it is coming. The pain and sadness buried 

deep in her heart is finally escaping, bits by bits, and hopefully right after this performance, she can live her life well and start afresh.

Through the tears flowing freely on Jessica’s face, her painful yet genuine smile successfully came through.

 With tears still flowing, smile not so bright, she successfully finished the song leaving a huge impact to her viewers. 

The audience were surely touched by Jessica and Krystal’s emotional performance. Tears welling up in their eyes

 as they were clapping with all their hearts to the two beautiful girls in front of them. Such a soulful and full of 

emotion performance, indeed. Another Jessica and Krystal signature epic performance.

And with that, they exited the studio with a contented smile. 

And in front of the television, another seven pairs of eyes are still continually producing tears even though the performance 

ended a few minutes ago.

While the beholder of the 8th pair is now searching for the person she truly loved in the studio where she awhile ago 

performed, and sadly never knowing that also just a moment ago before she arrived, that person vacated.
