TAEYEON'S POV

-March 17-

I walked into the school the next day to see the results posted up in the middle of the school. There I was, at the usual ranking of 1st. I searched for Tiffany. Starting at rank 100, my eyes scanned up the page. 90th, 80th, 70th, 60th place. My eyes passed Kang’s, Kim’s, Park’s and Lee’s. I stopped as I spotted the name “Hwang Tiffany”. I slowly moved my eyes across the page to the ranking. 15. FIFTEEN. TIFFANY GOT 15TH IN THE ENTIRE SCHOOL. I saw Tiffany walk in the front doors and ran up to her. “Baby you got 15th place!!!” I screamed excitedly. “What?! REALLY?!” she yelled and ran up to the board. She squealed and hugged me, tears in her eyes. I saw Mr. Lee waking towards us out of the corner of my eye. “Congratulations, Miss Hwang. Looks like you won’t be suspended after all.” he said with a smile and walked away. “Hey babe I have to go to my locker. I’ll meet you in class.” I said to Tiffany. I walked to my locker and opened it, only for a black sticky note to fall out. Written on it, with red ink, were the words “Watch your back –Nicole”. I shoved it in my pocket and tried to forget about it. I walked in the classroom and took my seat. The thought of that note never left my mind.

I was over at Tiffany’s apartment again. I really didn’t have to tutor her anymore, since finals were over and she already learned everything in the textbook, but she was my girlfriend, so I still went to her apartment after school every day. I left at about 8PM, it was getting pretty dark. Backpack on my shoulder, I walked down her driveway and out onto the old sidewalk. Suddenly, I heard a scream behind me. But, not just any scream. There was only one person with that high pitched a scream. It was Tiffany’s.
