A/N: I felt like I haven't written daejae seriously for some time now, so here it is....

              I got the scarf that you sent me. I really love it because it smells of you, hehe. I miss you so much. I wish I could kiss you right now, but I think it'll be a while before I can come home. Don't flirt with other guys while I'm away, okay? Especially not with that guy next door.

              There's been a lot of firing lately. They've never been able to come far, though. The noise is the only problem. I can't sleep at night because it's noisy. Apart from that, there's nothing to worry about, really. Our front lines are strong.

              Send me some more photos. I want to see how my little Jonguppie is doing. I need your photos too. Preferrably nudes but anything will be fine. Also send me some more beef jerky. Yongguk ate mine last time.

A wide smile is plastered on Youngjae's face as he lays the letter down on their coffee table. 2-year-old Jonguppie stares at the paper curiously and picks it up with chubby fingers, examining it before trying to put it in his mouth.

"You can't eat this, Jonguppie." Youngjae says, gently tugging the letter away from his son's hands. The child looks up at him with a pout, which disappears once his daddy kisses him on the cheek. "You're becoming more and more like Daehyunnie, aren't you? Eating everything you see."

The baby gurgles happily at the mention of his father, and pats his little hands on his daddy's face. Youngjae chuckles. He just wishes that Daehyun was there to see this moment, that Daehyun was there with him.

"Hey baby,

              How are you doing? Are you really eating well and sleeping well? I feel worried that you aren't.

             I got the photos that you sent me. Jonguppie's growing so well. I'm proud of my little boy. He can walk now, huh? I can't wait to see him. And you, too, ofcourse, baby. You looked so thin in those photos, you better eat up! But ofcourse, you're still hella handsome. And why didn't you send me nudes.  Also I got those socks. Why are they hello kitty patterned, though? I couldn't wear them during patrolling so I wear them in my room. Yongguk won't shut up about it.

          The firing is still going on. It seems the guys on the other side are pretty tough, I don't think they'll give up. Last night we even found that three of them got past No Man's land. It's kinda creepy but I guess it doesn't matter. We're safe, don't worry.
