"Junhong...honestly, why did you get into a fight again?" The question made Junhong feel frustrated; he's already told him not to ask, yet here it comes.

He hissed as the alcohol came to contact with the cut on his cheek, the cotton brushing against his skin before being thrown into the rubbish bin.

"I told you not to ask." He murmured, running his fingers along his backpack's strap before dropping his hand onto his lap. 

Jongup took out a third band-ait from his pocket and carefully put it across Junhong's wound, a guilty smile on his face. "I'm still asking, anyway. I need to know. We're bestfriends."

Junhong stayed silent for a few moments, before averting his gaze to the ground and standing up, straightening his blood-stained school uniform. "Do you really want to know?" 

Jongup pouted. "Ofcourse I do."

They walked side by side in silence until they reached the crossing, the traffic light ordering them to stop in their footsteps.
