The society hates them.

As much as they try to ignore it, as much as they try to face everything with a smile, as much as they try to be positive and see the bright side of life, they couldn't.

It's just...not easy.

"Hey, wanna order take out for dinner?" Daehyun asks, scrolling through his phone. He's hungry, and they're both lazy to cook. He expects Youngjae to say no because he thinks take out is unhealthy, but to his surprise the younger man does not reply.

With a raised eyebrow he turns to see his lover staring out of the window. Sadness glimmers in his eyes and he's biting his finger nails--Daehyun knows that he doesn't do that unless he's feeling a strong emotion. 

"What's wrong, Youngjae?" Daehyun asks, his voice soft and tender. He scoots close to his lover.

The younger man blinks in surprise and turns his head around, mouthing a gentle 'what' and Daehyun realizes that he hasn't been listening to him. 

"What's wrong?" Daehyun repeats, wrapping his arms around Youngjae's waist and resting his chin on the latter's shoulder. Youngjae relaxes, feeling his heart warm up at Daehyun's affectionate gestures; but still, that gloom and misery would not go away easily and his lips cannot form a smile.
