The rays of sunlight rested on Yongguk's hair as he lowered his knees slightly, his treasured nikon held tightly in his hands, as he tried to find a better angle for the shot. He smiled when the desired effect applied to the photograph.
The statue in front of him was nothing less of mesmerizing, full of history and life, and under the perfect light intensity it was a divine artwork. His camera was not able to capture the aura of the statue, but it did catch the physical appearance and Yongguk felt pretty satisfied at how it had turned out.
He looked around the war cemetry to look for more attractions, but nothing else caught his eyes except for the clear sky--blue, with lots of white fluffy clouds--and raised his head to take a better look. The sunlight pierced into his eyes and he had to shield his face using his hand.
It was a nice day.
He smiled again, turning to his side.
This time, however, no one was there.
The day could have gone better.
Himchan sneezed as the rain continued to pour down outside, his feline-ish eyes staring out of the clear window, his hair damp from the humidity. The window fogged up, and he raised a finger to draw random patterns on it.
The car slowed down, and came to a halt at the red light. His sister, who was driving, turned to him with curious eyes.
"Are you on drugs?" She asked, with no seriousness in it.
Himchan frowned. "What the hell, do I look like it?" He asked, but deep down he was aware of his messy appearance, since he had not paid any attention to his looks recently. Or food. Or sleep. Or anything.
She shrugged. "Yeah? Have you looked in a mirror?" The light turned green, and she turned her eyes back onto the road, her hands loosely gripping the steering wheel.
Himchan just grumbled, not wanting to dig into the topic
