Jessica headed back to Korea immediately after the Yahoo Buzz Awards as she need to be on time for the meeting with Mr. Esquivel (Clinton's Father) the next day.

"I suppose that you're here in place of Mr. Esquivel?" Jessica said as she saw Clinton waves his hand to her. So she headed there and sat at the vacant spot with Clinton pulling out the chair for her

"Well that's right. But what's with the formalities Ms. Jung?"

"Of course we need to be formal Mr. Jamison."

"I would prefer it if you would call me Clinton instead"

"That would do. So what happened to Mr. Esquivel and why is he not around for this business matter he wanted to talk about?"

"Unfortunately, something happened at the nick of time. Luckily, I'm here to take his place" 

"Should we get started?"

"Shouldn't we eat first? Aren't you hungry?"

"Uhm, Let's settle this first so we can eat without a problem"

"Okay then Ms. Jung" Jessica smiled first before she started taking out the files she brought.

 

"So far, There's no problem. I like how the business is going very well"

"Yes sir. That's what i would like Mr. Esquivel to know. That his investment isn't going to waste"

"By the look of it, The sunglasses have been sold out a couple of times already."

"Yes that's right. There's no problem with the production though. The demand wasn't expected but we're coping up with it."

"I see. Everything's fine. Are we done yet?"

"Yes sir. Would you like to give Mr. Esquivel a hard copy or should i just send a soft copy via email?"

"Soft copy would do since he'll just look into it and a signature isn't needed"

"Okay. That's all of it" Jessica answered taking all the files again neatly

"Finally" Clinton breathed out "You're so formal physically and verbally" he called for the waiter so they could place their order

"Says the one who calls me Ms. Jung"

"Answered the one who called me Mr. Jamison sternly"

"I was expecting to talk to uncle though. Shouldn't you be in SF?"

"Oh my gosh. I just got back and you want to send me off already?"

"Is that so? HAHA. I'm so sorry I'm so outdated"

"Nevermind. Let's eat first." Said clinton taking the menu given to them by the waiter.

 

"Did you saw her?"

"Her who?"

"Your little rascal"

"When and where?"

"Uhm, here and now?" Clinton asked and Jessica was taken aback. "They're 2 seats from us, to the left"

"Oh. I didn't. Who is she with?"

"I forgot her name haha. But starts with Y i guess"

"I see. Let's not bother. It's not proper if you'll keep on looking at their direction." Jessica answered wanting to drop the topic. Though she had a point about Etiquette. "I wonder why i told you that one though"

"Because i keep on annoying you and not to help that you keep on telling me that your someone is really jealous when you're with me. I annoyed you more so in the end you ended up telling me who your someone is"

"Happy?"

"Yes. Because now i can make her jealous when you're with me"

"Childish"

"Says the one who call her someone little rascal" Jessica sniggered

Yuri insisted that we have the talk over the dinner. I want to talk to her about her and that she caused me big time.

"So Yuri .. I want to tell you ..."

"Chill. Let's eat first. Didn't ask you to go here for some talk only" She answered looking at the menu

"And that's why i told you that it's okay not going here"

"You act as if what you're going to tell me is a life and death situation"

Life and death? My life is crumbling now because of that damn kiss you did to me! I looked away shrugging that thought.

"Are you busy?" Clinton asked as they finished eating and was just waiting for the waiter to come back with Clinton's card he used to pay the dinner

"No. This is the only appointment i have for the day"

"Can you accompany me for a walk?"

"Where to?"

"At the back of this restaurant. There's a fountain and a firework show later"

"Okay then" Jessica agreed and at the same time Clinton signed the receipt before they leave

 

The two walked to the said place. They stopped in front of the fountain

"Good thing that the weather isn't bad"

"Do you want to let out your thoughts to me?"

"Huh?"

"You're clouded with thoughts. I can feel it"

"Ah. I don't want to."

"Let's go" Clinton held her hand to head to the parking where he have his car parked

"Where to?"

"You'll know once we get there" He answered opening the door of passenger seat

 

Clinton drove back to his house and led Jessica at the backyard

"Why are we at your residence?"

"I'm flattered that you still remember."

"Of course. Dad brought me here oftentimes to play as he talk to your dad. " Jessica answered following Clinton's footsteps "What are we doing in here then?"

"Clouded with thoughts is not healthy. I can listen to you or talk if you want me to. I may not know much, but still, i hope i  can do something to lessen the uneasiness you're feeling" Clinton answered reaching the tree house and he outreached both of his hand so it'll be easier for Jessica to climb up.  Jessica took both of his hands after she gave him the heels she  took off

 

They sat at the tree house silently. Clinton was at the left corner while Jessica was at the right. Just like the old times, an invisible barrier was separating them.

"Clinton ..."

"Hmm?"

"Was there a time in your life that you're selfish of something?"

"Huh?"

"Like, there's something that you don't want others to have. And only you could"

"We all get selfish at some point in our life. But, I let go of those selfishness by time. Because i know that someone would always try to be selfless just so we could attain our selfishness"

"I shouldn't have. But still, I'm still selfish of it"

"Why? What's the thing you're selfish of?"

"Her lips. Stupid, isn't it?"

"Her lips? Lips can be easily given to someone. Like, to a family or to a friend. And if it's her, co-actor?"

"That was not a big deal because you know that is just for work. But when you see those lips be taken away by someone, and you can't do anything as they give and take that feeling"

"Oh. Your first kiss must've been unforgettable"

"Yes it is." Jessica's mood lighten up a bit remembering how she had it

 

 

"Yoongie!"

"Yes?"

"Come with me."

"Where to?"

"Secret" Jessica answered pulling Yoona out of her bed

"Whereeeeee"

"Someplace special"

"Fine. Since we don't have schedule tomorrow. I guess it'll be fine"

So the two headed out of their dorm and Jessica flagged a taxi.

 

"Carnival?" Yoona asked confusedly why Jessica have brought her there "Why are we here? It's already closed"

"Your questions will be answered soon so shhh." Answered Jessica intertwining her hands with Yoona's and Yoona can't help but to be shock about the action Jessica did.

 

"Ahjussi! Can we stay for some time tonight?" Jessica asked when she approached the guard of the carnival

"Sure" The guard have led them to the Ferris Wheel and let them ride it

"So we're going in the ferris wheel?" Yoona asked and Jessica nodded. The ferris wheel started moving when Jessica said that they're settled. "Oh?! We're stuck. We're stuck!" She panicked when the ferris wheel suddenly stopped moving as they were nearing the top

"We're not. Ahjussi would really stop us in this point. He'll move it after again after 30 minutes"

"How come you know that ahjussi too well? What if he's not really nice and just waiting to take advantage of you?"

"That ahjussi is my friend's uncle who is the owner of this carnival that's why we can go here for free" Jessica explained to the worried Yoona. She even smiled on her own while looking at the view

"You know, If i don't know you and we're not the only one here, i would say that you're a creep weirdo"

"I'm just happy"

"Because?"

"You're here with me now."

"You usually go here alone?"

"Uh-huh"

"Then, if you feel like going here, you can drag me here just like how you did awhile ago. So, you wouldn't be alone"

"I would" Jessica answered and Yoona smiled at her "There is one more confession why we're here now"

"Hmm ... What is it?" Yoona asked removing her hand from Jessica's hold so that she could bit the nails of it. It was her hobby everytime she's unsure and tensed about something

"Listen carefully, alright? I would only say it once"

"Okay"

"It is I, Jung Sooyeon, who is not a So nyu shi dae member but just the simple Jung Sooyeon. Would like to give Im Yoona, not so nyu shi dae yoona, a yes. Because i want to be her girlfriend, just like how she would be mine too" Yoona listened intently taking every words that came out of Jessica mouth

"But ... But i don't have anything to give you now"

"You need not to give me anything. You're enough" Jessica answered and Y
