“Are you sure that you bought from the same coffee shop?” I asked my manager after having a taste of the Vanilla frappe he gave me.
 
 
Apparently, I can barely come to that coffee shop as I received a memo from the top management not to go out for safety purposes. I have asked my manager to go instead, since I really love the Vanilla Frappe from that coffee shop. But this isn't like it. Totally.
 
 
“Yep” He pointed to the logo and name of the shop but ... Nah. This coffee isn't really it.
 
 
 
 
 
After my schedules for the day, I sneaked to come to the same coffee shop and thankfully there weren't as much people dining in.
 
 
“Hi” I greeted back and returned the gesture
 
 
“Vanilla Frappe?”
 
 
“Oh, no. I'm just curious about something. Do you mind?”
 
 
“Not at all” Satoshi smiled
 
 
“I asked my manager to buy Vanilla Frappe here, they're really delicious! However, it doesn't taste the same as before ...”
 
 
And the one who resembles Sooyeon isn't here too ... Or maybe her shift already ended?
 
 
“Oh! We kind of get that a lot for the day ...” His smile disappeared
 
 
You're the only one who complained though!
 
 
“Why?”
 
 
Because only you has the potion to fall in love with her, dumbo!
 
 
“Jess, often the person who makes your order during the day, resigned today”
 
 
This was, really, unexpected.
 
 
“Oh... For what reason?”
 
 
“I dunno” He shrugged before smirking after staring at me
 
 
“Why?”
 
 
“Just a little thought” He replied

“Are you okay?” She asked and approaching Yoona with tissues, dabbing it to the part that syrup spilled on
 
 
“Er, Yeah” Yoona answered “Thanks”
 
 
“Not a problem”
 
 
“And oh, do you work here?”
 
 
“Uhm, yeah” Jessica nodded
 
 
“But why did you resign from the coffee shop?”
 
 
“Oh, my mom wanted me to. She said that she doesn't like to see burns on my fingers”
 
 
“But you work in a pancake house ...” Yoona furrowed a brow
 
 
“Yep! And my mom doesn't even know!” Beamed Jessica “It's probably temporary though. I might have to find a company work or whatever”
 
 
“Hmm” Yoona nodded with agreement.
 
 
What a klutz. Thought I'll see her at this place often.
 
 
With you here, I bet it's easier for mom to know where I work! Ugh! Here I thought I already avoided you there; not only because of work, but also to do mom's favor.

Jessica stood beside her mom feeling uneasy, because she was just introduced to Yoona and her workplace
 
 
‘Use that talent of yours’ Mrs. Jung whispered
 
 
'Didn't you say not to fall in love with her? How is this helping me in any way?'
 
 
'Just this once, okay? I don't play the piano anymore, and my students are busy with their competition'
 
 
'Mom' she hissed
 
 
“She just agreed” Mrs. Jung informed the PD
 
 
She's really the polar opposite of Sooyeon. She can cook, while Sooyeon could barely cook an egg. Sooyeon doesn't eat cucumbers, but she does. Sooyeon eats nuts but she doesn't. She can play the piano, while Sooyeon whines about why she can't get the hang of it.
 
 
“You just have to play the piano and press some keys” Yoona approached Jessica
 
 
“Yeah, but ...” She gave a sigh
 
 
“Yoong, she’s new and clueless, but I really have to go to the conference meeting today. Can you look out for her?”
 
 
FOR REAL???
 
 
“Sure thing umma” Smiled Yoona as she wave her goodbye
 
 
The drama went on and Jessica did her job in one take. It was up to the editors and the actors to act out the next scene.
 
 

 
“See, that wasn’t hard, right?”
 
 
“Yep” Smiled Jessica, and out of hobby, she wiped off the sweat Yoona has on her face “Uhm, sorry. That wasn’t intentional”
 
 
“Err, okay?” Yoona shyly scratched her nape “By the way, I have to shoot my part. The water on the table is for you. You can stroll around, or whatever, just make sure that your phone won’t beep. The PD hates it. I think you have around 30 minutes or so for your next scene”
 
“Okay. Noted, and thanks”
 
 
Jessica muted her phone and went to the least crowded and barely visited place at the corner.
 
 
She was peacefully playing with her phone until there was an eerie sound that hurts her ear and head. She doesn’t know what caused it, but it hurts so much.
 
 
Ahh … what now?
 
 
She went out of the studio as it might be because of the crowd but the noise seems to follow her. And as if not having a control of her body, she went up the rooftop instead of going outside that she thought of going the first place.
 
 
 
“Angel Sica!” Satoshi welcomed her, in skies above.
 
 
“Skies above?”
 
 
“Of course” He rolled his eyes
 
 
“My time is over? How many days did I even live?”
 
 
“Chill” He shush
