Hiiii!

An 18 year old Jessica is fidgeting in front of a counter while the lady waits for her  to finish filling up the form 
 
"How old are you?" Inquired the lady, trying to engage in a conversation with Jessica who's clouded with thoughts 
 
"18" 
 
"18?" 
 
"Yeah" She shrugged 
 
"18 and …" Mumbled the girl 
 
"I'm done!" Beamed her "I already have a name for my baby" 
 
"It took you so long though. I worked overtime, thanks to you. Sarcasm aside at that, because who doesn't want extra income, right?" 
 
"It's not easy to give a name to my baby, because she'll take that until she grows up" 
 
"Thrice"  
 
"Huh?" She furrowed her brows, tiptoeing to look at her papers being processed 
 
"You already told me, thrice; this hour alone" 
 
"I didn't know that the office works overtime though" 
 
"Why of course it doesn't. Unless you're the boss" 
 
"You mean … omg, I'm so sorry that I took much of your time" She bowed apologetically. Jessica went to the office as soon as classes got dismissed, which was 4:30, 30 minutes before the closing. The lady was nice enough to entertain her query despite it being 4:50 already, and the others were preparing to leave 
 
"Where's the father? Shouldn't he be participating here?" 
 
"Doesn't have one" The lady looked on quizzically "I'm not a nor " 
 
"My apologies" 
 
"It's okay" She nonchalantly answered "I'd probably get that a lot, so I should prepare myself to get used to it" 
 
"Here, it's done" She gave the processed documents; Jessica's copy of the registration. 
 
"Thanks!" She smiled before giving a 90 degree bow

"Your daughter?" Taecyeon, Jessica's suitor and classmate, asked with a shock look on his face "I didn't know you have a daughter" 
 
"You never asked" Shrugged Jessica. He liked this guy just as much he ever does to her, but when he gave the look when she introduced her daughter, changed her whole perception about him. He isn't the one, she thought inwardly 
 
"I … I mean, does anybody here knows?" 
 
"Yeah? Like this is the second time I had to bring her here, because her nanny have something urgent to do"

It broke her heart, seeing the man she's dating, looking at her and her daughter with disgust and judgment. They were dating for about two months now, but questions about family planning and marriage life was never asked anyway. 
 
"How old is she?" Taecyeon asked  when it's the three of them is sharing a table in the cafeteria 
 
"2. I have her since I was 18"
