"Taehyung-ah!"

"Oh god, I almost forgot she works here," Taehyung groaned, looking down at his food as if it was the most interesting thing in the world, pretending he hadn't heard the brown haired beauty calling out his name from the other end of the cafe.

The heavens were definitely out to get him, Taehyung thought. His alarm hadn't rung in the morning for some reason, he was late to work, he forgot about a meeting with a client scheduled for that morning, and to top it all off, the air conditioner in Jungkook's office had broken down; which was why the two young men found themselves sitting in the company cafeteria instead of eating alone together in the office like they always did.

Jungkook didn't really mind the current situation; he had slept more in the morning, he had more time to nap due to the missed meeting, it was nice to get out of his lovely office sometimes, and the cafe's chocolate cheesecake was quite good, contrary to popular belief.

"Kim Taehyung, don't ignore me!"

Jungkook turned to Taehyung with confusion etched on his face, "What's going on?" he asked cluelessly, raising an eyebrow as a pretty female he hadn’t met before made her way to their table.

"This is why I hate eating in the cafe," Taehyung groaned, wanting to crawl into a hole (with Jungkook, of course) and never escape. Everyone's eyes had already been on the pair, now even more so because of the loud commotion.

"I'm so happy to see you again!" Jimin squealed, setting her tray down and hastily taking a seat opposite the two speechless younger boys, "You look great! I didn't realize you were Secretary Kim. You've made it big, huh?" she smirked, setting her bag down and looking up with sparkling eyes.

"Jimin, can you please not create a scene?" Taehyung whispered in exasperation, fully aware of the curious gazes their table was receiving. Jungkook's eyes widened at Taehyung's words as he remembered the face he had seen a couple of times and the pieces clicked together in his head.

So this was Park Jimin.

The new intern he was apparently sleeping with.

Jungkook wanted to facepalm for even thinking that. He didn't even swing that way, but he found the girl opposite him drop dead gorgeous. She had a bright eye smile and a cutely high pitched voice, and this was his first time meeting her but he could already tell that there wasn’t a single bad bone in her body.

"You punk, just because we haven't seen each other for the past 6 years, you dropped the 'noona' so easily, wow, I'm offended," Jimin chided, slapping the blonde boy's arm without any hesitation. Taehyung hissed and glared at Jimin while clutching his arm to his chest and rubbing it soothingly. Jungkook reddened, trying his best to stop thinking about ing s and keep his eyes trained on Jimin's face and her face only.

"You're only two months older than me," Taehyung muttered, angrily shoving a forkful of salad into his mouth. Jungkook chuckled as he watched the scene unfold; he felt a bit like an intruder, it was beyond amusing to see Taehyung interacting with Jimin, because not many people could get away with babying him like that.

Upon hearing Jungkook, Jimin turned to face him, "Oh how rude of me," she said, putting her chopsticks down and reaching her hand out, "I'm Jimin, Taehyung's noona from high school," she beamed, enthusiastically shaking the younger boy's hand.

“Jimin, he’s the company president’s son, you can’t be as rude and informal as you’re currently being,” Taehyung sighed, stabbing at his salad.  

Jimin’s eyes widened, but Jungkook shook his head, “It’s alright, I don’t really mind,” he stated, earning a relieved smile from Jimin and a glare from Taehyung.

“Sorry for being inconsiderate,” Jimin mumbled
