"Hey Jungkook, how would you word a definition for ‘stratification’? Like I know what it means, but I can’t word it right,"

Jungkook, the ever so avid reader, put his economics textbook (learning was a life-long process, so what if he had graduated?) down, "It's the social position of a person in a given group or place."

"Ah, yes, thanks," Taehyung said gratefully with a smile as he jot the definition down and continued to work on his essay.

The two boys had fallen into a routine. They were a bit more informal and casual around each by this point, and Jungkook appreciated the refreshing company of someone around his age, someone who treated him normally. Whenever they were free, which was for a good three hours a day or so, Taehyung would pick up on his homework (and freely ask Jungkook the genius about his doubts) and Jungkook would read his beloved thick textbooks, and novels occasionally, because what better way to pass time than educating yourself?

Jungkook picked up his book and resumed his reading. About seven sentences later, he was interrupted again.

"Say, how do you like your coffee?"

Jungkook didn't even know why he still bothered with trying to read in the office because Taehyung made it impossible to do so in peace. The older boy got distracted very easily, and distracted others easily too.

Jungkook lifted his head at the unexpected question and looked at the orange haired boy sitting in front of him. Taehyung was looking at him with eager eyes, a pencil behind his ear and round glasses perched low on his nose. In the one month Jungkook had known Taehyung, he had learnt that the older boy talked incessantly, every bone in his body was curious, he had a big heart and that he wasn't afraid to say what he wanted to and neither was he intimidated easily. In short, Taehyung was a like a breath of fresh air in Jungkook's mundane and strict life, and Jungkook would never admit it but he enjoyed the older boy's presence a little too much.

"How do you like your coffee done? Black? Double shot espresso? A latte?" Taehyung further questioned, leaning his chin on his palm as he looked at Jungkook,
