"Can you call the investor once again?"


The investor gave her a big headache since they refused to meet her on Macau office. More worst, they told her to come to Tokyo. She almost throw the vase on when she heard that but it seems like she had no other choice. She needs them. But she stopped Don before he proceed her request. It looked so unprofessional to step aside the business just because an old time problem so she decided to fly to Tokyo.





Since the moment she walked into the plane until now she got inside the car with the city view of Tokyo she was very nervous. Tokyo was a big city, she calmed herself, no way she would met him. And she pray, for the first time in four years, she pray that she wouldn't passing by him.


Mr. Tanaka welcomed her in his big fancy office alongside with his daughter Riko that Bom already met before. After signing the contract, Riko took her to the restaurant just the two of them because Mr. Tanaka still had more meetings to do.


"Do you have any plan beside working here?" Riko teased Bom, she knew that Bom was such a workaholic and everytime she went abroad for a business then that's it. Bom twitched her lips and continued to ear her sashimi.


"Can you be my plus one?"


"To where?" Inside she actually sighed, a party, chaebol party, she has no desire for it but it will be rude if she said no.


"My nephew first birthday party! Not my real nephew, my friend's son but she's already like a family."


So no drinks? What a big work. Bom thought.


"Sure! But I think I need to shop first. You know.." She rolled her eyes as she pointed her outfit, not match with a first birthday event. Riko laughed and said that she would love to help her with the shopping.






The hotel ballroom decorated with balloons and ribbons with a lot of Thomas characters everywhere, little playground on the other corner. Even if she has all of the money she would not celebrate her kid first birthday like this, the kid didn't even understand yet, what a waste of money. She was being polite following Riko and shook hands with a lot of people, she knew some of them from the industry.


"It's not that bad if we don't include all of these kids running and screaming," grumbled Riko along their way to their seat and successly made Bom laughed, "why?" She asked Bom.


"You can read my mind!"


"Bom?"


Both turned their head but only one person was in shocked.


"What are you doing here?"


"Same question to you."


Bom mind suddenly crashed and more thoughts came one after another on her mind.


He came with his wife.
He's with his child.
