Bitter Aftertaste"Are you okay Min Ho-sshi?" Shin Hye asked him.
The intensity in Min Ho's eyes softened.
"Yeah, I am."
"Sorry." Shin Hye replied.
"It's ok."
Shin Hye couldn't stop her curiosity.
"Your eyes.... " She said.
Min Ho was looking straight into hers.
"Tells a story..." She continued.
Min Ho looked away and released her wrist. He saw the imprint he had made on her wrist.
"Sorry." Min Ho said.
"You mean this? This is nothing." She replied with a laugh at the end of her sentence trying to emphasise that she was feeling okay.
"Did you had a rough day yesterday?" She continued asking.
"No.. Why?"
"Nothing just asking... Cos your eyes.. Have water in them.."
Min Ho was feeling vulnerable decided to return her remark with;
"You too.. Since the time we were on the lift."
Shin Hye's face dropped and sat at the staircase. Min Ho stood where he was standing and looked on her.
This is something new yet again... - Min Ho's thoughts.
Without Min Ho asking Shin Hye any questions, she spoke;
"Appa hates Seunghyun. He hates me and Seunghyun together. I met Seunghyun when we were in high school. I met him at an underground club, when he was an unknown rapper. His voice was the first thing that attracted me to him. We started going out after some informal exchange of conversation. Him and me... are different breed of people... That's what Appa tells me.."
"Different breed?"
"Ya.. different breed.. Different status... He doesn't come from a rich family. So he had to earn extra income. Besides rapping in underground clubs, he was a pusher too."
"Pusher?"
"Yes.. pusher... for drugs."
"I could have just supplied the money to him, but I too became addicted. So I was real rebellious at one point of time in my life before music found me. But I met with a tragedy first before I found music. Omma passed on when I went out of control with my life. At that point of time Appa didn't know I was dating Seunghyun.
