Introduction

Seul Bi’s POV

Locking me in four sides of this room for exactly 16 years was the worst time of my life. I let my fingers touch the sides of the window which is my favourite place, wiping off the imaginary dust as I looked out and heaved a deep sigh.

Being home schooled and foods being delivered inside this room have been my life for my 16 years of existence.  After I realize that I don’t want to live no more with this kind of cycle. Sleep, eat, study.  I still don’t know why they hide me for these past years, I was persistent to ask them but all they give me is “This is for your safety”.

I walked to the door and held the door knob. Heaving a nervous sigh, hoping that it is not locked. I warily turned it and my eyes widened when the door opened, I poked my head outside and looked around. The maids, my parents are not around. This is your chance, Seul Bi.

I hurriedly walked outside; I was surprised how big this house is. Trust me, I’ve never had the chance to go at least outside that room, I nervously walked downstairs, and the staircase seems like forever so I decided to run down.

I saw a big door and my mind was set that that is the way outside. Wait, what if there are the guards? I stepped back again and saw the dining room next to the kitchen; I walked in to the dirty kitchen and saw a back door. I grinned a little and turned the door knob. As the door opened, I can see the light from outside. I stepped my foot outside and the warmth of the sun touched my face.

I’m in the back yard. Almost immediately I ran towards the fence and jumped. I ran as fast as I can, not caring to look back to the house which I despise the most.

This is what I’m longing for, freedom.
