I held the letter shakily. Harin left the room under my orders. Inside the envelope was a small crescent and star necklace. The crescent enclosed

around the star. I covered my palm over the necklace. Even though I had no more feelings for him, I valued the necklace very much. I re-read his

familiar messy handwriting.

Just like the star and moon, wherever the star is, there will be the moon. ~ Its fine if you don't wear

it, really. This is just a farewell letter. This is the final letter I am writing to you. And I just can't

bring myself to visit you, I can't stand that pained expression of yours when I am present. Like you had

to choose between me and hyung. But Hyuna-ah, just remember that you chose hyung a long time ago. You

chose him instead of  waiting for my return. Which is never. And I have to agree it is the right choice.

 From now and on, please forget what we shared and spend the remaining time of yours with hyung. Take this

necklace as a token of pure friendship. Send my regards to hyung. And Hyuna, I will always love you.

Was what he wrote. I shed no tears, instead, I was beaming, happy we can let each other go now. I was touched, he went through all of this to say

goodbye. Thank you~ Folding the letter and keeping it in the envelope, I sighed. I am at peace. Finally. I shut my eyes that were becoming

surprisingly cooler. And called out for Junhyung. In a flash, he was by my bedside. His eyes wide. My guts clenched. And guilt started to flow in

continuously. I took a deep breath and held his hand. He raises his eyebrows softly.

" What is it? " He asks quietly.

" Let's sit outside. " I suggested.

As a routine, he carries me out of bed and out to the balcony. I settle down beside him, hugging his arm. He smiles down at me, resting his head on

mine.

" Are you feeling better? " He says with a grin.

I close my eyes and smile blissfully. " Yes, cause I am at home. "

He chuckles." I love you Hyuna. " He sighs tiredly.

" Even though you had to go through all the pain? " I asked softly.

He nods. " Yup. It was worth it. I was prepared anyway. "

I smile a little. " Promise we will be together? "

" Promise. Even death won't do us apart. " Junhyung convinces me, hugging me.

I smile into his chest." I think the star will come out tonight. " I whispered.

He raises an eyebrow." Why do you say that? " He frowns curiously.

I just smile knowingly." You said I am a star, right? " I ask. He nods seriously.

" Well if I go tonight, it will come out. To be me. " I told him, smiling calmly.

His face changes and his eyes sadden. He only shakes his head and hugs me once more.

" I love you, Hyuna. " He repeats.

I wrap my arms around his waist and breathed my last. The smell of his shirt, was my last breath.

" I love you too, Junhyung ah. " I spoke.

He closes his eyes. I close mine. He gave a long sad sigh and hugged me tighter.

I smile peacefully. Then my grip around him slackens and I left.
