“Baby-” Yong Hwa broke the silence between them when Hara stayed quite at the passenger seat beside him.

Hara hummed softly in response without even looking at her father as her eyes were glued on the road before them.

“Are you really not going to talk with mommy?”

The little slowly nodded her head.

“Why?” Though he knew the answer was, he still need to hear it from Hara’s herself.

“Mommy is not buying me bicycle.”

“Daddy is not going to buy you bicycle too.” Yong Hwa took few glances at his little girl and noticed Hara was looking at him curiously.

“Why, daddy?”

Yong Hwa smiled fondly as he looked at Hara for seconds. “Daddy really wants to buy Hara a bicycle but lately Hara has been neglecting Mommy so much. Hara even refused to listen to Mommy, and Daddy is not happy with that-”

“But-” Hara paused when she caught Yong Hwa was staring at her, clearly looking at her in dismay.

“Mommy and Daddy never taught Hara being so rude like this. Daddy is still talking and Hara is talking back to me. Hara even ignored Mommy whenever Mommy talks to Hara.” Yong Hwa explained softly. He knew there were no use to angry, to yell at his little girl. Hara was too fragile and sensitive and she always feeling insecure. With Hara, he must always being careful afraid he might hurt her.

“I just want a bicycle, daddy.” Hara suddenly burst into tears which made Yong Hwa abruptly stopped his car at the side lane.

Yong Hwa sighed deeply as he pulled Hara to sit on his laps. “Tell Daddy why Daddy and Mommy have to buy Hara a bicycle. Hara is not even going to school using bicycle.”

Hara sobbed lowly. “All my friends have their own bicycle and they can play outside using bicycle.”

“If daddy buy Hara a bicycle then Hara has to give all your toys to other kids who are in need. How about that?” Yong Hwa gently wiped away her tears as he looked at her, trying to see her reaction.

Hara frantically shook her head. “No- please don’t give my toys away.”

“Why? Daddy is going to buy Hara a bicycle.”

Hara kept on shaking her head, sobbing so hard in his embrace. “No- No, Daddy. I don’t want to give away my toys.”
