“I heard you are applying leaves for next week. Are you planning to go anywhere?” Mr. Park asked over their dinner together.

“Yes, dad! I promised to bring Hara to Jeju Island.”

“Good to hear that. You should bring Hara and explore this country more.”

“That is going to be really fun!” Chanyeol said as he looked over Hara sitting next to her mother. “Can I come with you guys?”

Hara immediately shook her head and told him to stay instead.

“Why is that? I thought you like spending time with me?”

“Do you really want to come?” Shin Hye looked at her younger brother feeling uneasy.

Chanyeol just grinned and shook his head lightly. “I am not on my semester break yet, noona.”

“You need to stay with grandpa. Grandpa will be alone if you are coming with us too, uncle Chanyeol.” Hara answered him smartly which made the gentlemen to chuckle softly.

“Of course, uncle Chanyeol will stay with grandpa.” The young man said. “But Hara must buy me a lot of souvenirs then.”

Hara nodded and continue to stuff her food inside her small mouth.

Shin Hye just simply smiled hearing the cute conversation between her daughter and her favourite uncle.

“Mommy, can we go to the bookstore again? I want to buy new story book.”

“Sure, baby.” Shin Hye replied as she put another chicken cutlet on her daughter’s plate. “Finish your food first before we go.”

Hara obediently listen to her mother and took spoonful of rice into .

“Shin Hye.” Mr. Park spoke up again, but this time his voice was more serious. “There is someone I want you to meet tomorrow over the lunch.”

Shin Hye halted and looked up and met with her father’s gazes. “Dad..”

“I already asked my driver to pick Hara tomorrow, so you don’t have to worry. Just meet that person.”

Shin Hye cleared and put down her chopsticks and spoon. Suddenly she felt really full.

“Dad, we have agreed not to talk about this matter again. You know I am not ready meeting anyone.”

“It has been years and you are not ready to meet anyone yet?” Mr. Park glared at her daughter.

“Dad, this is not only about me. This is about Hara too. I don’t want to hurt her feeling.”

The atmosphere has become really tense between them, and even Hara noticed though she did not exactly understand the conversation between her mother and Mr. Park.

Shin Hye shed her tears when she saw her daughter was bowing her head toward her father asking forgiveness on behalf of her.

“Please don’t be mad at my mommy again, grandpa.” Hara said as she kept on bowing her head with her teary eyes.
