The loud bangs of the front made Shin Hye to halt from doing her chores. She immediately sprinted to the front door afraid it might be Yong Hwa and Hara waiting for her to open the door. Without thinking twice, Shin Hye quickly unlocked the door and only found it was Chanyeol standing before her.

“Chanyeol..” Shin Hye uttered weakly. “What bring you here?”

“I just finish my class. Where is Hara? I kind of miss her.” He said as dashed in and closed the door behind him. “What are you cooking? I am hungry.”

“Oh- I..” Shin Hye started to feel uneasy, thinking of how the encountered of Yong Hwa and Chanyeol would be. And, that little girl was coming home too.

“Noona?” Chanyeol shook her body lightly and noticed his sister had turned pale. “Are you okay? Hara-”

“MOMMY!” A cute voice as she strode inside the house and breaking the silence between the two siblings. “Uncle Chanyeol..”

Chanyeol immediately knelt before her and gathered her in his arms. “Who fetch you from school?”

Hara bit her lip as she looked over her mother who was standing behind them. Though she was ecstatic to share about her father with anyone but she had promised her mother earlier that she would not be telling anyone.

“Shin-” Yong Hwa stopped when he saw Chanyeol was standing at the living room with Hara in his arms, and Shin Hye was already crying as she stared timidly at him.

Yong Hwa ran to Shin Hye when he realized her face had turned white, and she was at point of collapsing.

Chanyeol could only stare as he was still shocked with Yong Hwa’s sudden appearance. He still could not believe his eyes that Yong Hwa was actually inside his sister house.

“Hara, get uncle Chanyeol something to drink.” Yong Hwa told the little girl and brought Shin Hye to nearest couch. “Get a glass of water for mommy too.”

Yong Hwa smiled earnestly at her, as he held her small hand tightly and assured her that everything would be fine, and Shin Hye held his hand back and was at verge of tearing apart. She was too afraid even to think what might happen in the future.

“Uncle Chanyeol going to angry at mommy too?” Hara’s voice brought them to reality. The little girl looked at him with her sad eyes as she could sense the tension between them.

Chanyeol shook his head as he tried to lip up his smile. “Get your mommy water.”

Hara peeked over Yong Hwa and saw him giving her an assuring smile. She obediently went to the kitchen to get two glasses of water and gave to Chanyeol before she rushed to her mother and settle in her father’s laps.

“I am sorry. I found your sister.” Yong Hwa spoke up first. “I never promised you anything back then.”

Chanyeol gulped when he heard Yong Hwa started to talk about the past but still remained silence as he saw Hara staring at him timidly.

“I love Shin Hye and our daughter so much so I hope you can understand that.” Yong Hwa said again.

“But noona is going to marry Jong Suk..” Chanyeol said lowly. “This time I am sure dad will make it happens.”

“Chanyeol..” Shin Hye interrupted as she shed her tears away. “I am sorry. I could not keep up with my promise.”

Yong Hwa lightly patted her hand to calm her down as his other hand circled around their daughter tightly.

“I want to marry Yong Hwa, not Jong Suk..” Shin Hye said again. “I can only be happy with Yong Hwa.”

Chanyeol sighed deeply as he looked over at them. Suddenly he felt so hard to breathe thinking their father reaction after knowing Shin Hye was with Yong Hwa.

“Noona, have you really think about this wisely?”

Shin Hye nodded again. “Please, Chanyeol if you want me to be happy, let me be with Yong Hwa.”
