Daehyun’s POV

I didn’t able to have my sleep last night, because of what happened yesterday. I don’t know if I’m really that mean, but all I want is for him to stop. Anyway I need to focus on my lessons for now, since I am not allowed to play the upcoming championship if I had a low grade.

“Hi Captain!” Jongup greeted.

“Hi Jongup” I greeted mindlessly.

“Are you ok? You look down.” He inquired.

“Ohh~ I’m ok Jongup” I assured. “It’s just that … a lot of things happened yesterday” I added.

“Ohh~ I’ve heard about your latest argument with Jae … a lot of your teammate says you really got it bad this time.” Jongup said, sound worried.

“They always say that …but in the end, Youngjae still shows up the next day like nothing happened.” I assured.

“I hope so… but remember, everyone has their limit… ” Jongup warned.

“If that’s the case…I would be happy, since he gave up on me, finally.” I said half-heartedly. “Anyway, I got to go, don’t want to be late in my class, see this afternoon’s practice?” I asked

“Yeah! See You!” He replied cheerfully.

After saying my goodbye to Jongup I walk straight to my class. On my way there, I saw a familiar figure walking to the direction where the club’s offices are located. I check on my watch to check if I still have time to wander, luckily I still have 30 minutes, so I decided to follow him. I knew it, it’s Youngjae. Looks like he’s going to the school paper club office. Youngjae really did go inside the said office after knocking 3 times. I waited; minutes have passed when two male figures, one is Youngjae, went out of the same door.

I can’t seem to catch up what they’re talking, but I heard some of their conversations. The guy, who’s with Youngjae said about ‘Stop’ and Youngjae about ‘I have to …I have no choice’. Wait! What’s the meaning of stop, stop what? What does Youngjae mean by I have to, I have no choice.

“Anyway, I need to go now Yongguk-Sunbae! Bye!” Jae said cutting my trail of thoughts.

“Bye!” the guy, who was called Yongguk replied.

After they bid each other goodbye, I decided to check on my watch again to check the time.

“!” I cursed. “I’m late!” I panicked.

A lot of things happened this morning, aside from I follow Jae till his club’s office, I also got to my class late which made our teacher really angry, and ended me to get punished by standing at the corridor. What a pain in the . Well, I better forget about that for now, practice is about to start. Fighting!

“Yoh Dae! Is Youngjae coming over?” One of my teammate asked me.

“Don’t know. I hope not” I replied.

“Ok guys! Let’s have a warm up exercise!” Our coach shouted.

“Ok Coach!” We answered in unison.

After an hour of practice, we were given a water break. As I went to my bag to get some water, I also scanned the surroundings looking for a certain someone.

“Missing your boyfriend?” One of my teammate teased.

“What are you talking about?” I retorted.

“Looks like, he’s not here yet.” Jongup stated.

“Even better.” I commented.

The practice just ended but still no sign of Youngjae. The next day, my soccer practice, still no sign of Youngjae. My teammate keep on teasing about me missing him, they were also asking about he’s sudden decision to absent.  The next day, basketball practice, coach ended us earlier, I search the crowd but Jae is nowhere to be found.

“Are you sure you’re ok with Jae-hyung not around, Captain?” Jongup suddenly asked.

“Of course… See? What a peaceful life I could get.” I replied, assuring him, even extending my arms just to emphasize my happiness.

“Yeah sure…you look so happy Hyung.” Jongup stated with a sarcastic tone on his voice. “Anyway, I need to go now, Zelo and I agreed to have something to eat at our café today in celebration for passing our very difficult test this morning.

“Yeah Ok.. Bye!” I replied. “Wait … Zelo?! Youngjae’s brother?” I asked

“Yup!” he nodded “… why?” Jongup inquired.

“Well—nevermind… Go on, Zelo must be waiting on you.” I answered. What are you doing, it’s your chance to ask about Youngjae’s whereabouts.

“Ok Hyung… Bye!” Jongup said before leaving.

What am I thinking??? This is what I have been wishing for ever since he started pestering me. I must not do something to make him get back on pestering me again. I am fortunate enough, that I managed to make him stop. But seriously … Where are you now Jae?
