Youngjae’s POV

“Dae? Between basketball and soccer, what do you like the most?” I asked as me and Dae sat on one of the bench at the soccer field.

“Hmmm... I can’t choose… I like them both…” he replied.

“Greedy~” I teased. “What makes you into sports then?” I asked another one.

“Not what … But who …” Dae corrected.

“Who then? Who influence you into sports?” I inquired.

“My dad” he replied immediately. “My dad was a coach right? But before he became a coach he’s also once a player of both sports I’m playing.” He explained. “He’s my first trainer, my first coach, my first teacher, and my first opponent of the game.

“He taught you well.” I complimented.

“Yeah… And dad was right.” Dae said as he looked at me lovingly.

“About what? … About the basketball and soccer?” I asked. He shook his head.

“About finding someone who can change my priorities.” Dae answered. “I was like my dad, as what mom said, I keep on playing and playing because I like it, we like it. But when dad met mom he choose to be with mom than sports. What I mean is if you’re going to ask me between you and sports… I’ll always gonna choose you.” He explained sweetly.

“Cheesy~” I teased to kill the tension, although the rapid beat of my heart won’t stop.

“I’m serious though.” He insisted still looking at me in the eyes. Gosh! I think my face is red as tomato now.

“I-I know…” I said stuttering because I’m still embarrassed about Dae’s sweet words. “But Dae … I never made you choose, right?” I reminded after I cleared my throat.

“It’s not only about you making me choose… It’s also about the situation that may happen.” He explained.

“But for me, I think I’m gonna choose my dreams than you.” I teased.

“Mean~” he replied with a pout.

“Just kidding…” I said as I playfully punch him on the shoulders. He smiled. I’m melting.

Daehyun’s POV

School festival is here!!! Jae and I are very busy right now helping Zelo, Jongup and their group in decorating their café.

“When are you gonna wear that dress?” I asked Youngjae which earned me a flying scotch tape on my head.

“We’ll soon open by 8am!” Jongup shouted. “It’s already around 7:30” he stated as he look at his watch. “Everyone should be wearing their uniforms by now.” He added.

A replied of ‘I’m wearing mine!’ and ‘Mine too’ can be heard from their group mates.

“I’m gonna wear mine now!” Zelo stated. “Wanna change with me hyung?” he asked Jae.

“Y-yeah~” Jae replied in defeat.

About a minute later, my phone suddenly rang.

“Hello?” I answered.

“Hello honey!” the voice of my mom greeted.

“Oh Mom! You called… why?” I asked.

“What do you mean by why? You invited me to attend your school’s festival right?” Mom replied.

“Yeah! You’re coming?” I asked excitedly.

“Could I say no to you?” she teased.

“No!” I replied playfully.

“What time do you want me to come then?” she inquired.

“Anytime will do mom… Just text me… and mom… I … I would like you to meet someone..” I said excitedly.

“OK!” she replied cheerfully.

“Dae?” someone called as I ended the call. “Who’s that?” Jae asked as I turn to face him.. errr.. her?

“M-my… Mom..” I replied bashfully.

“What’s wrong with you?” she… I mean he asked.

“You… Your cute~” I stated.

“Shut up!” he replied angrily as he stomped his feet.

“I’m telling the truth!” I said.

“Whatever!... Why did your mom called anyway?” Jae asked to change the topic.

“Ohh~ she said she’ll visit the school today..” I answered

“What???” Jae shouted.

“What?” I asked.

“Dae! Are you crazy?” Jae said annoyed. “You’re not bringing her here… got that?” he ordered.

“Why not?” I asked confusedly. “I want her to meet you..” I added.

“No way! She can’t see me in this Dae… It’s too embarrassing.” Jae explained.

“But Jae~” I whined.

“No Dae! No way!” I refuse.

“But I already promise mom that I’m gonna introduce you to her.” I insisted.

“But Dae~” Jae whined.

“Please Jae… for me?” I asked childishly.

“F-fine… But if she hates me--”

“Never!...” I cut him off. “She’ll like you… I promise!” I assured him.
