“Y-you…?” It was the only word which came out from Taeyeon’s lips. She stood there, tightly holding the door’s knob as she was looking at the unexpected visitor, surprisingly.

She’s astounded…

The hell she really is.

 

This scene was far from what she was expecting. It never even crossed her mind.                                                                                                                                              

This girl standing in front of her… Taeyeon have already buried her deep on her memories. She have decided not to think of her anymore and she really did. But who on Earth can actually do this stupid joke on her?

The girl who she have already forgotten is staring back at her, with the same expression.

 

 

Taeyeon shook her head with a scoff. But then again, she managed to look straight at the girl’s deep brown orbs, reflecting series of emotion and Taeyeon was as sure as hell that she saw guilt in those pair of eyes.

But she doesn’t care anything about it now.

They were long gone.

And bringing them back wasn’t one of what she desires now…

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Why are you here?” Taeyeon asked nonchalantly within a matter of seconds.

 

“T-taeng…” the girl uttered in her low voice. is slightly agape staring at the person firmly looking at her. It was as if the firm girl is scanning the whole she is, mocking her…

She lowered her eyes on the ground, afraid of the short girl’s gaze.

 

 

On the other hand, Taeyeon smirked at what she was seeing. After all those years, 5 years to be exact, this wasn’t the reaction she was expecting form the girl. She expected her to look at her in hatred, but instead, the girl can’t even lift her face towards her.

This is unbelievable – Taeyeon thought, with her light empty laughs can be heard.

 

 

Hearing those from Taeyeon, the girl moved her head even lower and took a couple of steps back. Taeyeon, stepped forward then, bringing them both outside the apartment.

 

 

 

 

Taeyeon let a scoff once again.

“What? Acting so stupid?” she mockingly asked at the girl, still her head facing the ground, “or you already lost your tongue? I wouldn’t be surprised if you actually did.” The other girl then bravely lifted her eyes, uneasiness is still there reflecting on her.

“Oh! You really lost your tongue, didn’t you?” Taeyeon faked a shocked expression but the other girl knows what Taeyeon actually means by that. “You want me to get a pen and a paper? It will help you talk you know.” Taeyeon continued with sarcasm, looking at her firmly. The other girl kept on just looking at her, guiltily.

 

 

 

There was an uncomfortable silence before Taeyeon decided to break it.

“What are you doing here? I don’t have all the time for this.”

 

“T-taeng p-please-”

 

“Don’t you ever call me that!” Taeyeon exclaimed with her teeth greeting, her left hand turned into fist. The other girl stared at her clenched hand and turned her gaze back at Taeyeon’s straight face. The girl decided to keep shut, afraid of the short girl’s reaction. Again, she decided to lower her head. She was about to do it, when Taeyeon continued. “For the last time… What.do.you.want?” she asked showing impatience.

The girl chose to look at her once again, deciding to do what she actually planned to do, the reason why she went there in the first place.

 

 

 

“I’m… I’m here to… t-to talk to S-sooyeon.” The girl said to Taeyeon, she wasn’t able not to stutter. Seeing the short girl unexpectedly after long years was still shocking for her.

Taeyeon on the other hand, was now concentrated on what the girl has just said. The scene, surprising her earlier was now out of her mind. Knowing that it’s about Jessica, she walked near to her, her eyebrows furrowed.

The other girl stood there. She continued, knowing that Taeyeon has no plan of responding back.

 

 

“I have to t-talk to Sooyeon-”

“Why?” Taeyeon asked, stopping the other girl. Curiosity overwhelms her, thinking how on Earth does that girl has something to do with Jessica. This really doesn’t make sense to her.

 

“This is really important. I have to-” again, she was cut off by Taeyeon.

 

“Why?” Taeyeon asked again seriously.  Her arms crossed over her chest.

 

 

 

 

“Miyoung has-”

 

“NO” Taeyeon yelled with her eyes fuming. Hearing Tiffany’s name being mentioned. Now it all made sense to her.

 

No wonder… birds with the same feather flock together­ huh?- Taeyeon thought in amusement.

 

 

 

 

 

“Sooyeon has something important to know… please.” The other girl said, pleading. Tiffany pleaded her to talk to Jessica. She can’t let the poor girl down. She doesn’t even know what Teayeon is doing here nor what she is to Jessica… but the sure thing is- she has to talk to her.

She has to talk to Jessica.

 

Taeyeon bitterly smirked at her. Thinking Tiffany is some kind of a jerk who gets everyone on her hand.

She already has Jessica. Her best friend going all crazy over her… and now this girl in front of her? Depending that Tiffany…

Who else is next?

 

Taeyeon again clenched her left hand and it didn’t go unnoticed to the other girl.

The word ‘please’ from the girl struck her.

 

Why does that Tiffany get everyone?- Taeyeon thought.

 

 

 

 

“Please?” Taeyeon asked, making a fake gasp. “I didn’t know someone like you knew that word. How amazing huh?” sarcasm was all over her statement. And the other girl felt a sudden sting on her left chest but she managed to stay focus, she has to do it for her friends’ sake… for Tiffany and for Jessica.

 

She witnessed those two, how their love united them.

How their love made them happy and all…

 

Unlike what happened to Taeyeon and her.

They dispersed because she believed, it was Taeyeon who left her.

It was Taeyeon who broke them apart.

It was all because of Taeyeon…

 

If there is someone to point who’s at fault.

It was all because of Taeyeon.

 

 

“Just let me talk to her.” She firmly said, unfazed of Taeyeon’s statement.

“Why… huh? Did y-you let me when I was the one who said ‘please’? Did you gave me the chance?” Taeyeon was shaking because of hatred. She was very angry, “Tell me… did you even heard me back then? Huh? TELL ME!” Taeyeon was fuming, she was literally on her boiling point now.

 

“T-taeng-”

“I TOLD YOU NEVER TO CALL ME THAT!” the other girl stepped back, startled of Taeyeon’s voice.

How can a short girl even scares a much taller girl like her?

Well, no one knows.

 

It’s because it is her… it’s Taeng that’s why- the other girl thought.

 

 

 

A tear escaped form the other girl’s eye, not because she was scared, well that’s one of the reasons why but the most is because she feels very guilty and Taeyeon wasn’t oblivious of it.

She really believes that if Taeyeon chose not to go, they will be together for a long time but Taeyeon didn’t. She chose to go. She chose to leave her.

And Taeyeon left her…

But still, she feels very guilty.

 

 

Taeyeon fixed herself, more to say… she calmed her emotions. Seeing the girl in front of her in that state. She felt she’s at fault.

“Go, go now. Sooyeon will not talk to you.” Taeyeon flatly stated.

 

“Please… Miyoung has something to tell her. It is something important, Taen-... T-taeyeon please…”

 

 

 

 

“Why don’t tell it herself? Why you?” Taeyeon scoffed, thinking of how Tiffany gets her things without putting any of her personal effort. Much worse, is by using others on her own selfishness.

 

“If she just can… she will do it herself. But things is more complicated now T-taeyeon... I need to tell Sooyeon the truth-" the other girl insisted. Knowing Tiffany’s situation, she just had to do it.

 

 

 

 

“Whoh, whoah stop there.” Taeyeon cut in, showing her hand to indicate stop. “So Stephanie Hwang or should we say Tiffany is so busy with her company now huh?”

 

“You… you k-knew?” the other girl ask, surprised. If Taeyeon knows, then there’s no way that Jessica doesn’t know it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

“What? That there’s her Hwang Empire waiting for her? That she already has s-someone to marry? Huh? Oh… what else am I forgetting?” Taeyeon scratched her head, more like showing she was forgetting something important. But then she chuckled, “Ugh~ why would I forget?! Why would I forget that b*tch hurt Sica! That jerk hurt Sooyeon and there’s no way I will let her get back to her! Do you hear me?! I won’t! So you better leave and tell that Stephanie Hwang she could do all she want. She could do all she ing want and she won’t get Jessica from me! Now go! Go away!” Taeyeon yelled, piercing her eyes to the stunned girl staring back at her.

 

Taeyeon turned her back, ready to go inside where Jessica is waiting for her but she stopped when she felt a tight grip holding her left hand that was actually turned into fist. “O-okay… if you don’t want me to talk to Sooyeon, so be it. I won’t talk to her… but please Taeng… c-can we? Can we t-talk? Please, I am begging you.” The other girl insisted, tightly tagging Taeyeon’s hand in hers. But she was not actually surprised when she felt her hand being yanked away by the short girl.
