"Namjoo ah are you okay?" Bomi felt guilty, thinking that it was her fault that Chorong "kicked" Namjoo.

"I'm better now, it's okay. Thinking about it, I guess I can understand why she did that," Namjoo replied, trying to act like the nice and understanding angel who was wrongly injured.

"Really sorry about Chorong's actions." It was Bomi's fifth time apologising already. "She's just getting weirder these days. She was never like that in the past. Give me a moment, I'll go get you a cup of water."

The moment she walked out of her office, her other colleague, Ilhoon, approached her. "Bomi ah, actually Chorong-"

"Namjoo's in this state and you still talk about Chorong? Sorry, I'm not interested to listen," Bomi angrily responded, not even stopping midway.

After pouring the water and using excessive strength to put down the bottle, Bomi was about to return to her office when her phone rang. Seeing that it was Eunji, she decided to pick it up. "Yeah Eunji, whats up?"

"Yoon Bomi, Chorong-"

"Chorong again? What did she tell you this time?"

"What are you talking about? It seems like you don't know yet. The hospital called and told me that Chorong's in the hospital. I was asked to call her family but as you know her parents haven't been with her so I called you. I thought you knew."

"..." Shocked, Bomi held her phone down for a while and did not listen to whatever Eunji said after the news. 

"Yah are you still there? Bomi?"

It took Bomi a while to come back to earth. "Got to go Eunji, see you at the hospital. I'll let Naeun know as well."

Not bothering about the water anymore, she quickly sent a text to Naeun. "Go to hospital. Chorong's there." At the fastest speed she had ever ran, she entered her office and grabbed her belongings. "Namjoo, I'm in a rush now, so I can't tend to you. Sorry again!"

Please Chorong. Whatever happened, hang in there. I'm coming to you now. As if it was a punishment, there was a traffic jam at the highway, causing Bomi to be more irritated. She hit her hand hard on the steering wheel and shouted in frustration. "Ugh why traffic jam now?!" Now that worry had overtaken the anger in her, Bomi recalled Chorong's face when she shouted at her. That expression Chorong carried was only seen when she experienced something she was scared of, or something that hurts her terribly. It did not take very much effort to estimate how much pain Bomi had inflicted on Chorong. 

Once Bomi managed to arrive at the hospital, she sped at the speed of light to the exact location Eunji told her. By then, Naeun and Eunji were already there. "Eunji, what happened to Chorong?? Where is she now?"

"She got into an accident outside your office. She's still in the operating room." Bomi leaned against the wall and squat down, putting her hands over her head. As tears ran down her face, she repeatedly muttered to herself, "Why..."

Chorong came out of the operating room safely. Or rather, alive at least. However, she had been in a coma for the past few hours.

"Bomi ah, shall we go home and rest? You've been sitting here for a few hours already and it's getting late.." Eunji suggested.

"How about you and Naeun go home first then come again tomorrow? I want to stay here with Chorong."

"But you need to get rest," Naeun joined in to try to get Bomi to go home.

"It's okay, I'm fine. I just want to be here with her."

Both of them sighed. "Okay then, take care. We'll visit again tomorrow."

It was only when the two of them went out of the ward that awkwardness started to overwhelm them. Trying to loosen the atmosphere, Eunji offered, "Erm.. Want a ride home?"

"I don't mind," Naeun replied, smiling slightly. Subsequently, it was silence all the way till they entered the car.

"Err... Eunji ah, actually Yookyung-" 

"The weather is pretty cold today. Gotta take care of yourself, in case you fall sick." Knowing that Naeun was going to talk about Yookyung, Eunji changed the topic as she did not want to hear.

"Eunji, I-"

"Don't you feel sad seeing Bomi like that? She's been crying all day because of Chorong. I think something happened between them before that." Naeun just nodded, not bothering to try anymore. Not at the moment.

Then silence covered the atmosphere once again. Until Naeun spoke again. "There's really nothing-"

"Oh hey look, we've arrived. That was fast. Rest well Naeun. See you at the hospital tomorrow!" Eunji smiled and waved to her, pretending not to hear Naeun's attempt to speak.

"Bye Eunji. Sweet dreams. I hope you will listen to me someday. Tell me when it's the day you're ready to hear me out. And go home safely, your boyfriend must be waiting for you." Eunji did not look at Naeun anymore. It was evident enough from the voice that Naeun was incredibly upset.

"Thanks. Don't drink anymore." With that, she drove away without waiting for a reply. Naeun stood there and stared until the whole car disappeared from her sight. 

"Why won't you listen to me? I just want to let you know that I'm not with Yookyung and I will always be waiting for you," Naeun said softly to herself.

*** Meanwhile..

"Chorong ah... It has been hours.. Wake up please.. I promise I won't shout at you ever again. I won't glare at you ever again." Now that Bomi was left alone, she could finally let her thoughts freely out. For the past few hours, she had just been crying in silence.

Bomi grabbed Chorong's hand tightly. "Chorong, can you hear me? Don't sleep for so long and leave me here. I miss you."

"If you wake up, I will do anything, anything at all. Even if you want to shout at me, hit me, or if you want me to die, I will do anything." She placed her forehead onto the hand that was holding onto Chorong's as more tears fell.

"We've been together for so long, yet I failed to be more understanding towards you. I'm really sorry Rong."

As she closed her eyes, images filled her head. Chorong's pained face. The moment when they were arguing. The happy times they spent together. Everything. "Rong I feel really lonely like that.. Don't leave me like that please. Take it as I'm begging you."

A/N: I'm sad that Eunji never wants to listen to Naeun T_T and Chorong should wake up soon.. right? I hope so too. Bomi already apologised.. >< What do you guys wish to see in the development of 2eun and chomi? :) Just want to hear from y'all.
